This place was about 4 miles from the hotel I was staying at. Absolutely amazing food and drinks! I think everyone at the bar... ordered an old fashioned. I had Chardonnay but next time I’m in town I will definitely be back, and I will have me an oldfashioned. The meatloaf was SO good I couldn’t even eat it all! Everything was amazing! Service is probably the best I’ve experienced in a while. We had the spinach dip, chicken pasta and chicken and waffles. The... tortilla chips with the dip tasted fresh and crispy. The chicken pasta was flavorful and a large portion. The chicken andwaffles was a big hit and very savory. I don’t know what they put in a waffle batter, but it is delicious! My husband and I love this place. Went today for our anniversary after first coming a couple weeks ago for my birthday. We... originally had Stanford Grill in Columbia around Xmas not realizing until recently that Copper Canyon was the same restaurantand less than 10 minutes from our house. We're early eaters, between 1 - 3, so there's been no wait for seating and we get ourfood fast. The ambience is perfect with comfortable booths and low lighting. Service is excellent and food is great with sizableportions. At this location, so far we've had the salmon, trout, meatloaf, fiesta egg rolls, chicken tenders, and bread pudding.The salmon is good but the trout is even better. My husband had the meatloaf previously and thought it was OK. The egg rolls arethe best we've had anywhere else. The chicken tenders were under seasoned, but the fries they came with are pretty good. Anotherstar item are the mashed potatoes...delicious. I got the bread pudding to go and it was very tasty, but I wasn't a fan of theraisins. We're looking forward to our next visit to try some new things, but this place has definitely made it as one of our toprestaurants. Read more
I live close by and always thought about making the trip, but I'm glad to finally to review. Came on a Friday night for dinner... service and waited 15 minutes to be seated. It was packed and seating was plentiful. Ambience was pleasant with soft music inthe background. Service was excellent. Ordered apps, prime rib, and crab cakes. Prime rib was good but what really stood outwas the balance in the au jus and horseradish. Crab cakes were the highlight and excellent. The mustard seeds under the crabcakes provided a nice touch and the sweet potato fries were amazing. Highly recommend to those looking for some decent crabcakes. The bill came out to $100 for 2 but I would say there is really good value here in terms of quality and quantity offood. Read more
Food was really good. Atmosphere was very nice. Manager was super nice when we told her we found a tag in our dessert (we... assumed it was a napkin tag or a chefs coat tag) we told her we just wanted to give the staff a heads up we didn't want anythingbecause of it. Loved the ambiance and the food was delicious. The ribs were some of the best we have had and the crab cakes were well seasoned... with little filler. The mac n cheese and calamari could have used a little more seasoning but were still pretty good. Ourwaiter Jamar was very personable and attentive and just all around amazing! Can’t wait to go back! My husband and I had lunch on 10/9 at noon and it was surprisingly not busy although it picked up when we were leaving. We... ordered the cornbread with jalapeños (good but fell apart when I put butter on it), chicken and waffles (absolutely delicious)and the meatloaf with string beans & bacon mac and cheese (good minus the sauce on meatloaf).
