Excellent 10 ounce crab cake filled with all lump crab meat and seasoned extremely well however the mashed potatoes were very... thin/runny I prefer them thicker/heavy. The only reason they lost a star is because we got there 25 minutes after they openedwith only 3 other tables occupied and the service took to long we sat there an extra 25 minutes after the meal was finishedwaiting for our waiter to come and check on us so we could pay and leave . We have had a rough couple days of traveling and really wanted a good lunch. They did not disappoint! The crab cakes and... scallops were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I have never had Oysters Rockerfeller before, and as far as first times go I was like Thor...BRING ME ANOTHER! I was here for my... birthday and the space was good for our party size(9) and the food was well cooked. Prime Rib so tender it melted in your mouth,and the crab cakes had so much flavor! Five star restaurant. This is the most delicious dinner I've had. The crab dip actually has lumps of crab and the crab cakes are... the best crab in MD. Our food was cooked perfectly. The waiter was nice. The dinner was so perfect we wanted to compliment thechef. The manager was nice enough to meet with us and take our compliments. Hubby and I have been posted overseas for years, we were finally in the area for the long weekend and decided to try it again. I... remember this place being an upscale restaurant, it definitely has changed a lot over the years. The cream of crab soup waslacking flavor and we had to add a lot of old bay into it. We had to send back the bread because of the freezer burn/plastictaste. I felt my crab cake was stuffed with so much breading, my Husband’s was much better. Service was ok and slow, had toask for items multiple times (water, dressing, etc) We went when it was not as busy either. Really disappointed with this trip.Will definitely drive to Dutch’s daughter when we want crab cakes. Not a bad place for take out, but definitely not theupscale place we were use to. Read more
