Liked the place, very courteous staff. Their complementary bread is probably the best bread I've had in a while. Hot and soft... and straight outta the oven. Amazing ribs, can't complain. Totally worth the money. Read more

I originally had been to Jesse's over 35 years ago when I was a student and my family or friends family would come up and visit... the area and treat us. Now, as an adult, anytime in Hanover I stop by. It never disappoints. It's pricier than most restaurantsin the area, but the food is good. Read more

Nice restaurant with a cool look both inside and out. Service was A+, nice, attentive and ready with suggestions. Meal: French... onion soup was lacking in flavor. Croutons under cheese were not croutons...just hunks of bread that turned to mush. Onions cuttoo thick and outter skin slices were tough . 5 out of 10 Roasted butternut salad was made of mixed greens, with fresh cutapple, nicely cooked squash and goat cheese. Very flavorful and refreshing. 10/10 Nantucket Seafood Gratin was maybe 2 shrimp,a scallop, fish and 1/2 a small lobster tail in a cheese cream sauce. Had it not been over cooked and all of the seafood tough,I might rate this better but tough food, coupled with the small portion size for the cost, it's only a 6.5/10 In addition...Ipaid $2 extra for broccoli, foregoing rice. It was steamed. Period. No seasoning, no butter, nothing. 5/10 Prime rib, 12 ozwas a good cut, cooked as ordered. 10/10 Asparagus that was $2 extra was minimal. Besides that...one spear was old, woody andclearly a different color than other Spears. It should have never left the kitchen. 5/10 Mashed sweet Potato was just that.Nothing special or wow. 8/10 Drinks... Bees Knees good. 9/10 Sangria with triple sec, pear vodka and apple brandy topped withsoda...was nothing as described. First drink was watery...sent it back. Second tasted like white zinfandel...period. nothingmore 3/10 Having been told that Jesse's was the best in town we were highly disappointed. I didn't order dessert, I didn'twant to be disappointed more. If we are ever back in town, we will try somewhere else. Read more

Best steak in the Upper Valley! There is plentiful seating, including outdoor to enjoy the weather. My server Connie was... amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable; she knew exactly what the menu options were and helped me pick a wine that Iloved! The steak is super good, especially given the price. Amazing food and amazing staff. I would highly recommend coming hereto eat if you’re in the area! Read more

Service was great. Drinks were good. Was slightly disappointed the ny stip steak was not super tender and the char on it was... pretty dark. It was advertised as the most flavorful cut, I wouldn't agree. The filet is much better and worth the extra $. Read more
