Had breakfast here on 5 of the last 10 days during two visits. I always got an omelette, home fries, sourdough toast, and lots... of coffee. There?s just something about Lou?s. The staff is outstanding, the food?s always delicious, and the atmosphere is athrowback to a simpler time that is hard to find anymore. I love Lou?s and always look forward to my next visit. It's a really neat and lively little place to get a very hearty breakfast/brunch. Their baked goods and coffee is especially... nice. Read more

In my view, the best place to have breakfast or brunch in the area. The tofu scramble is excellent and flavorful. The acai bowl... is a large portion with nice sides. The cakes are best I've tried. Rich, not overly sweet, and decent portion. Read more

Tried Lou?s again only to be disappointed again!!! 2x in one week. The food quality is just not what it used to be. The egg... white omelette with goat cheese was always my favorite. Really disappointed. The omelette had so much goat cheese it was veryoverpowering and the home fries were burned. Also noted as I set at the counter that the employee was making sandwiches and waswearing no hair net and he had extra long hair. I saw his hair all over the back of his shirt. I?m sure the health departmentwould not approve. Hair should be kept neat and up and covered with a net when preparing food. Read more

Where to begin. Told 10-15 minutes to be seated. Actual waiting time was 38 minutes. Table we were given did not have enough... seats for our party, meaning 3 people had to squeeze into a booth made for 2. When food came out, one meal was entirelyforgotten and had to be made late, and when it did come out, the burger had the wrong condiments and sauce and had to be remadea second time. Chicken and waffles was a Belgian waffle with exactly four bites of fried chicken. For $16. Waitress? responsewas, and I quote: ?yeah, it?s a little small.? Will include picture for hilarity of the meal (took two bites of waffle beforepicture was snapped). While eating, members of our party witnessed a waitress eating toast in customer view, picking her nosewhile on her phone, and a different waitress somehow managed to leave urine all over the seat of a toilet right before a memberof our party used it. Laughably bad experience, do not recommend. Read more

VERY EXPENSIVE. Very poor food quality, the home fries are the tiny cubed frozen potatoes, cooked beyond recognition. The were... dried up and crunched like a potato chip. I specifically asked the waitress before hand, and she assured me they were fresh cutup potatoes. The eggs are small, Not large. And the waitress was VERY innattentive , and not very accommodating. The cups weredirty. The chairs were sticky. The portions were small. We will not go here again. **update **edit dear manager that respondedto my post, I would have certainly have mentioned it to the waitress had she paid any attention to us at all. She sat us down, plunked coffee in front of us and didn't bring any cream or sugar for 5 minutes, and we asked somebody else for it before shecame. While she was taking our order she was completely distracted talking to other people that were coming through, and notabout seating, but other greetings. She did actually put down on the slip how I wanted my eggs cooked, and then the kitchen didnot cook them that way. And she was very very unknowledgable about your menu. I see you on here defending yourself to everybodythat leaves an honest review. Instead of getting defensive perhaps you should actually listen to the reviews that the people aregiving you. It would probably help you a lot. I have been a cook for over 25 years and I know all about prices. And I know whenpeople are gouging people for money. And I also know what a Good Waitress is like. So I'm sorry if you don't want to acceptthese honest reviews from everyone, you will never improve yourself and you will never stop getting these low rated reviewsuntil you address the problems that people are talking about. Slow and salty Went on a Sunday morning so not expecting to be seated immediately. Pleasantly surprised to get a table within... 5 minutes. If you are a fan of Crime in Sports, that was grace because it went down hill from there. Our order was prettybasic - 2x of the ?signature? corn beef hash and a big green and two coffees. If you are a breakfast place, I?m going to judgeyou on your coffee. Theirs was slow arriving and not that great. Actually, in hindsight the coffee came lightening fastcompared to the rest of the food. 25 minutes after ordering our food came. It was cold, burned and salty. Not a goodcombination. Maybe it was just a bad day but since both orders of hash were the same saltiness, I?m guessing it wasnormal. Added note - they had tables open for social distancing which is admirable.. but then they crammed three tables into acorner. What are you thinking? Do better Lou Read more
