So much good food to choose from here. Stick to your ribs comfort food! The Captain's fries were amazing, but a touch too salty.... (I would get them with lite whiz next time, too). The brisket Mac and cheese was oddly a sandwich and I wish it had been a bowlwith no bread. The burger was also delicious. Plenty of sauces to choose from, as well, to customize your experience. They havefountain drinks and a nice collection of bottled craft sodas. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Great visit all around. Read more
Think biker bar meets great BBQ. For BBQ the is food excellent. Portions are large to huge. The loaded fries( with brisket)... are sinfully delicious, the chili( smokey Texas style) is excellent, creamy mac n cheese w/burnt ends and their pulled pork-alldelicious. Multitude of various bbq sauces. This is not fine dining but the dining is way better than fine. Must stop for greatBBQ. Read more
If you're a fan of barbecue, then you must stop here. Their food is amazing smoked and cooked to perfection. I have not had... anything here that was not delicious and if you've never tried the desserts then you're missing out their crab inspired barbecueis amazing and anything that I've ever had here is delicious. The dining area is adequate but it is definitely not a fancyatmosphere. It is for people who enjoy barbecue and want to have a clean and comfortable atmosphere, but it is not fancy. I give it 4.5 stars The Mac and cheese burnt ends brisket was very good. My chicken sandwich feom their lunch special was just... ok. Missing something. Just bread and chicken. Added some of their great BBQ sauce and it did enhance it a bit, but I still feelsomething was missing. Hope to try other items on their menu soon to give a complete review. Read more
This was a little way to drive for food but so worth it ???? it's off tucked away recommend using GPS. The food was filling!... Definitely come hungry because you may not finish it. You will want to take leftovers home. Very clean inside and outside. Youcan play cornhole while you wait for food. Family friendly and staff very friendly. Read more
We stopped in on a Friday night after the basketball game at 7:30pm. Only 1 other table had anyone in it and they were already... eating. We ordered some basic BBQ and my wife had a burger. The food took over 30 minutes to come out. My wife really likedher burger. I ordered the brisket and pulled pork along with both types of coleslaw. The pulled pork was ok, but a little onthe dry side. The brisket might have been the worst I've ever eaten. It tasted horrible and was so dry that it was barelyedible when dunked in sauce. The slaw wasn't bad, but nothing great. I definitely can't recommend going here for BBQ. Read more
Great "Carolina-feel" BBQ served with your choice of meats: pit beef, pit ham, pit turkey, chicken and brisket. BBQ sauce... choices a quite good. Potato salad, french fries and cheese curds were great. All dining done on picnic tables (indoors andout). Curb appeal of building needs some help, but everything that matters was fantastic. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the crab fries this go around wasn?t very good. The sandwiches were tasty and loaded... with meat. And the flavor was excellent! The crab fries toppings was burnt and wasn?t much crab on them like last time. ????update???? Spoke to Alley and she took care of me they are going to remake my fries next time we stop in.
