My friend and I went Denny's today and we were seated, the waitress was nice. I asked her what the soup was, she didn't know.... She went to ask and they didn't have any soup. So I ordered a salad and asked for french dressing and broccoli, she came backand said they didn't have any french dressing and out of broccoli. Why did they bother opening up. No supplies. I orderedfrench fries and they were good. They need to get supplies in, train their wait staff what is available. Pretty bad running thebusiness without the food and supplies. Seated quickly. But that's all that moved quickly. Food took a while coming out. Appetizers were cold. The server completely... forgot about the dipping sauce. Forgot completely about my refill. She was quick to remember bringing out the check though. I'vecome here before with family, and the service was slow then. But this was ridiculous. Will not be coming back. Would notrecommend. Tables were left dirty. Waitresses were too busy sitting in a booth talking too one another rather then cleaning up tables. The... cook did not have a hair net on. And the place smelled like sewer when entering the front door. The sandwich I got was hard,French fries were cold. I will not be going back. Read more
We waited an additional 40 minutes past the time stated by the online order time. I went in to get it and a waitress, (who is... the only reason I gave the two starts). Greated me at the door, she asked the cook how long until our order would be ready. Thecook rudely answered and said it will be at least 20 30 minutes. We only ordered two cheese burgers and an order of zucchini andsquash. The restaurant was practically empty. I went back in after waiting another 30 minutes and the cook still didn't have ourfood ready, and when the waitress asked her again she responded with I dont care. Finally another cook stepped in and got ourfood together. The waitress apologized for our food taking so long. I thanked her and went out to my car. My daughter openedthe zucchini and squash. It was a pretty big cup with only 4 slices of zucchini and squash I the bottom of the container. Iguess it was all that was left. My daughter's dinner was burned and dried out and mine was aswell. Out of the two Denny's in the York / Hanover area this one is by far the best and is the newest. Server was really friendly and... pleasant (intrigued by my Scottish accent...which I dare say they don't hear much around these parts) and the food wasexcellent. Not very busy when I was there and the food may have been a little slow in turning up ..like so many places therewas a "now hiring" sign on the door. Read more
Was greeted with our waitress Faith. Was the best service I've had in a long time. Food preparation could use some help. Cook... came out to let me know the steak I ordered was medium rare by company standards. Messed up the second one as well. I've cookedin a restaurant before and as you can see from my picture it's not even close to medium. I was tempted to go back and cook itmyself. Home fries/hash browns were very under cooked. 6 feet distancing wasn't used while we were there. A table was seated 3feet out from us 10 minutes before we left.
