I always love coming here, the staff are all very friendly & the food is scrumptious. The waiting period for your order is... reasonable. Considering the amount of customers that come to this place. It's a wonderful place for families to gather. The softserve ice cream is the absolute best! The only downside I found to the York Street Treat is: They have no public bathroom fortheir customers. Which I was at the least surprized that such a great place did not invest in adding a couple on propertySpot-a-pots. Read more
Just tried to order a monster sweet tea and a monster ice WATER and they wanted to charge me $8.00...I asked how much a water is... and she told me $4.00 for a cup of water...WHAT!!!! You lost my business and I?ll spread the word. Not to mention they got ridof broccoli cheese bites so now I definitely don?t have a reason to come back. How are you going to charge $4.00 for a cup ofwater when you can go to brothers pizza down the street and get the same size for 25 cents. Ridiculous. Read more
What a great place to eat. We had 4 starters, 2 subs and a cheeseburger ????. Everything was cooked really well and tasty. I... think we found our new place to get a quick bite. EDIT: Had breakfast there on March 19th. Great bacon egg and cheese/Ham eggand cheese sandwiches. Also great prices for home cooked food. Better than any fast food chain. Just needed to add that theyhave a 44oz milk shake that it a great personal food challenge. Can you drink one in a single sitting. I did. Read more
Ice cream is good and so are sundaes. Milkshakes are made with just one flavor and they have upto monster size. Flurries is an... option too. Lots of food options - sandwiches, burgers, appetizers. Read more
Cool little ice cream shop I tried to find out how long it had been around but none of the girls working at the shop knew. They... did tell me that they are always pretty busy which was good to hear. I did also speak with one of the other patrons who statedthat she worked there when she was a teenager. Every small town needs one of these and Hanover is no different. The ice creamwas good, the staff was polite and I hope this and other places like this stay in business for years to come. Thanks YorkStreet Treat for our sweet treat. Read more
Always a fun trip to this ice cream shop for the family. Great vibe, with an old school, traditional ice cream shop look.... Servings are generous, many great choices, and prices very reasonable. If you're in the mood for some sweets, worth a shot. Read more
