The automated robo-voice in the drive-thru asking "woukd you like to try...?" is annoying as it is, but the fact it doesn't even... do anything makes it even worse. I told it "no", then waited 4 minutes. Another csr pulled in to the other side of thedrive-thru and was helped right away. We get McD's for the kids about once a week. This location only when it's moreconvenient, and I have to remember to bring paper towels because they hand the root beers over with the cups covered in rootbeer. Anyhow, everyone knows the food quality is horrifyingly bad. It's a treat for kids, sociopaths, or a rare convenience"meal." In this case, I spent an extra 20 minutes going out of my way because of the terrible (aka lack of) service. At leastat the one on Roselle Rd they won't hand me drinks dripping with root beer, they get my kid's special-order burgers right anddon't greet me with a robo-offer. Well my app driven deals have expired for a large coffee for $0.99. but now they offer a free coffee with a purchase of a dollar... or more. So now I am ordering an extra small diet Coke and I get a large premium coffee for a dollar. It's a win-win for me. Iget my large coffee and now I get a little tiny extra small diet Coke for less than what I used to pay for the large coffeealone. I do not care for McDonald's food, but I do care for quality indoor playgrounds for the kids in my group of friends, and this... place is fantastic. They were crawling around in there for hours. There's also a large seating area with tables that have LEDsin them that entertained everyone. The staff did a great job of keeping this area clean despite the kids. The kids liked theHappy Meals and toys. My salad was pretty sad. The coffee was meh. Nuggets were fine. The service was fantastic. Friendly,fast, and accurate. A couple of giant screens are available if you like ordering with them, but the humans at the counter didgreat with the customers, too. So I'll give it 5 stars for being an awesome McDonald's.
