Never been to a Mexican restaurant that did not serve a burrito? Portions are small but price is high. I\'ve been to local... Mexican restaurants with much better food and much more to eat for far less money. Service was slow even when we were the onlyones in the place, won\'t be back. Read more

Complimentary chips and salsa was great, steak in the steak tacos was super flavorful and the passion fruit margarita was... excellent!! I am glad I could support a new local business and will definitely recommend this spot to others! Read more

First of all, they use the cheapest, grossest, acetone-flavored tequila for their margaritas and other mixed drinks (the server... told me this laughing) but will charge you up to $90 dollars a shot for some other brands they carry, so why have the cheapstuff at all? The drink menus are not laminated, basically bent up oily paper that has stains soaked in, I didn’t want totouch them. I saw the other nicer menus with jackets being picked up from tables and given right back to new customers coming inwithout cleaning them, this is not sanitary and unsafe, when I go out to eat I am trusting that ALL the staff are highly trainedon keeping a clean place. I understand it’s hard to staff these days, but having servers bus tables bare-handed, grabbingnapkins and used utensils and dirty plates, stacking them onto a pile in a square bucket, and then go serve food and drinkswithout once washing their hands probably isn’t a good idea, which goes back to my point about training staff on protocol. Our food was lacking in flavor and unbalanced, making very bland and improperly cooked meals. I had the Tampiquena and myfriend had the especiales as well as steak tacos. If you want to experiment and/or gamble your money go here, you may have adifferent experience. Or go to your local grocery store and pick up all the ingredients for ANY of their dishes, and I promiseyou will make something similar or even better and save tons of money. While taco shops aren’t always ideal for dining in,they DO carry these same items and will deliver when it comes to flavor. Plenty of websites have the recipes for these basicmenu items. The tortillas aren’t made in-house the server said, they buy them at the store. Sometimes the environment andatmosphere makes up for this low grade food, not the case here. They have art on the wall that is nice, with price tags in thethousands of dollars, it’s laughable. My glass had a lipstick stain on it, and so did my friends. Huge red flags being Read more

Very disappointed. First of all, food was warm, not hot. Second, they charged us an extra $3 per Margaritta ordered for the... \"alcohol\" when we ordered house Margarittas. Did not ask for any special tequila. So 3 Margaritas cost a total of $50.40. Iasked why the extra charge and the server literally said, there is the charge for the drink and a charge for the alcohol\".What? Whoa! Watch out on their drink costs. Lastly, if paying with a CC, they charge you an extra 3.38%, but that it not on themenu anywhere. You don\'t find out until after they\'ve ran your card and brought you your receipt. Way too expensive of a placefor what you are getting. Read more

Steak tacos are good. Portion size was perfect. Service was good. Suggest serving the beer in a frozen glass.

Menu is tiny, expensive and a huge let down. It seems to struggle with its identity, not knowing if its an American steakhouse... or Mexican food. Its basically a steakhouse geared toward “high end diners” where they pour mole and verde over everythingand serve it with white rice. I’m not coming to a Mexican restaurant to have a steak and salad with avocado or pork loin withwhite rice and steamed vegetables. Why they thought a Mexican restaurant serving habanero mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, and white rice was a good idea I’ll never know. I was thoroughly unimpressed and left feeling cheated out of $60. Only thingmy daughter could eat that wasn’t shrimp or smothered in peppers was the frijoles. We ended up going to five guys after whichI’d recommend more Read more
