Took my family of three to Capozzios last Sunday evening. We had ordered deep dish pizzas and the waitress came back and said... they were out of the thick crust. My wife and I have both ran restaurants and feel as though if you can’t serve what thecustomer ordered at least discount their bill. The service was OK. The food was absolutely delicious. Food was ok, not what it used to be but still good enough to go back. The service however was bad. The waitress was rude and... short. She sat us and then another couple 10 mins later, they got their appetizers and food before we got our appetizer. Hopefully we don't get her next time. Been eating here for over 30 years and never had service like that. Read more
Wonderful food. While the restaurant was obviously under staffed and over worked on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent... as was the service. Picked the destination with a dart to meet with family. Luck paid off. Read more
Just visiting the area with our 7 children. We made a reservation because the place we ate at the night before was packed. Got... there and were seated right away (more tables than people for sure), we did not need that reservation. The service was good thefood was good but why was nobody else eating there. A bit of it could be the season for sure, my guess though is the 3 drinklimit and the hand written in gratuity. Would have loved another beer and would have left a much larger too if it hadn’t beenalready hand written in. All in all good food but I wouldn’t rush to go back. Read more
Capozio's We went on a Saturday night without reservations and the dining room was quite full. Our server, Teresa, kept our... water filled, gave us plenty of time to order, and was attentive without being a pest. When our salads came, the first thingthat hit my tongue was the excellent house made blue cheese dressing. Excellent salad! We ordered garlic bread and the friedzucchini. She said the fried zucchini was very good; she took mine home. We filled up so much on the great garlic bread that wehad to take doggie boxes home with half of our main courses. Oops. Both of us had the minestrone soup. To me it tasted morelike bean soup with a very nice smoky flavor. We both liked it. She had the ravioli and I had the mostaccioli. She enjoyed theravioli. It had pieces of tomatoes in the sauce that she liked. I usually like pepperoncini with my mostaccioli, butpepperoncini were $1.50 extra. Really? They're charging for condiments? Yikes! She snuck some pepper onto her salad. Don't tellanybody! I had my mostaccioli with meat sauce and no pepperoncini. We were both too full for desert, so we boxed the last ofour dinners and left. We have eaten here several times and the food is amazing! We are from the Chicagoland area and the Italian beefs are better at... Capozios! We had our food catered from here for our wedding and everyone loved it! Theresa was so sweet and provided everythingfor us. Anytime we are up in MI we are stopping in! Read more
