I grew up at crow's nest, which originally was called crow's bar. It lost it's charm from the original owners Andy & Sophie.... Back in the day it was packed everyday so people could get down home cookin. Now their trying to go gourmet, the food is ok. Thebest dish is the fried chicken. Only because that's the only dish originally done by Sophie. Most locals around here can't evenafford to eat there. It's a shame that people get away from the original. Great staff..great food...seems in middle of no where...but worth the drive..you probably just came from lower Michigan.
We had all of the classic cars there today that will participate in tomorrow's big Bay Harbor Car Show. The place was packed.... The staff were excellent; very friendly and efficient. The buffet was excellent and everyone throughout the restaurant wasserved quickly. We cannot wait to return later in the year! C Read more

Lived in this area all of my life...went to the Crows Nest..have never gone there before tonight...went for a birthday party and... was totally impressed. The staff were at our service once comfortably through the door. Nice place to have a gettogether...perfect in every way. The food was very good....the walleye was out of this world yummy!! I regret never have goingthere before now....but they made a new return customer out of me! Thank you Crows Nest...hope you have an awesome season. Read more
Food was very good, had their perch which is what they are famous for. service not so great. Waited quite a to even order and... then had to wait to get our bill. After a drink with little to no vodka in it, we switched to wine. I get that labor is tough,but they had alot of staff running around so I'm not sure why service was not great. All in all, good food and worth the drivefor a change of scenery. Read more
First time customers... We were there for the perch Friday dinner. Just about everything we was fabulous! (Coleslaw was just ok... and lemon meringue was store bought) Now, from the Cuban bean soup (with chef Paul Prudhommes sausage) to their maple syrupvinaigrette (salads) to very flavorful pulled pork to the perch (was extremely tasty) It's in the middle of nowhere, but peoplehave been coming here for years because of the food, staff and service.
