Pretty chill spot that the townies love. Food is right down the middle, not bad but not amazing. Good for the price. Decent... selection of craft beers and it looks like they have a full bar. Maybe the only spot in town with pinball but they need cleaningand maintenance. I believe they have Adams Family and Creature from the Black Lagoon. Adams Family has been completely out oforder the last couple of times I've been and Creature has a weak, misaligned flipper affecting gameplay. They are also placedpoorly right by the kitchen with barely any room for staff to get by when you are standing at the table. Read more
Never been here decided to try it out. Upon entering we were greeted with a "what can I do for you?" in confusion I asked him to... repeat himself because typically when you walk into a restaurant you're asked "how many". So then I asked if we could have atable with a question mark in my voice. Then he asked how many. Skipping to the pricey menu, we did get an appitizer.... But $16for cheese curds? Ouch! They were good but nothing that blows your mind. Our entrees were even more money, which is to beexpected. The food was subpar. The prices definitely don't match the food. Nothing was overly disappointing. Just mediocre. Thewaitress was super nice and fast. It's a nice place with a nice ambiance but nothing to call home to mom about. Read more
Waited at least 15 minutes after seating for a member of the wait staff to take our drink and appetizer order. 20 minutes later... still no wait staff check in, no drinks, no appetizers. I can understand if they were short handed and busy, but please let yourtables know. Wait times for our dinner order got worse from there. The waitress apologized during the wait maybe once. Tableswho were seated and ordered after our group were served and finished their dinner before we even received confirmation from ourwaitress that ours was delayed. Food was good, but when busy... I’m being generous rating this place a 3 because I understand every place has an off night but the price vs quality of food... that is being served up here do not match up. We should have went across the street to the New York instead. We would have paidaround the same for dinner there but it would have been inspired, delicious, quality food! Read more
It's one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time.... Not because of the food (which is fantastic) nor the service (which... is great, friendly, and smiles) it's the bloody mary with a shot of beer. Brought back memories of my youth. Please tryPierson's Grille; you'll love it. Read more
First off, the mahgerita pizza was amazing! Cheesy and hot, the cheese literally melted as we tried to pull a piece out! It was... so delicious and the closest thing I’ve found to NY piazza in Michigan. Salad as fresh and the interior was nicely decoratedand very clean. Service and prompt. Drink was mediocre, especially the strawberry punch (first cocktail on the drinkmenu). Otherwise, nice place for some food! Read more
Absolutely fabulous. Second visit, two years after the first. Nice atmosphere and great food at a reasonable price. Probably... the best French Dip I've ever had! Very tender prime rib on a wonderful roll. Good pizza as well. Read more
Our waitress made the experience poor. We had kids with us and she was so frustrated. She kept rolling her eyes when we asked... for things. The food was good, the atmosphere was neat and some very cool decorations from Boyne. Read more
