We had an excellent dinner. Mushroom Bisque and Calamari are winners! Sherry gave us great service and the kitchen was cranking... out the food timely. You cannot beat the view. This is one of the better upscale restaurants. They have an excellent manager,Jody if you have any issues. She will take care of you. Try a ride in the Pointer boat. Really nice easy going place for lunch. Open air when the weather is friendly. Patio seating is nice too if not too hot.
What a great place to visit. One of the best restaurants in the area. We drove from boyne mountain to this place as we heard... about it. We arrived At 8 pm and they were very busy Saturday night. They were able to seat us outside in a nice table with agreat view. Our server Anna was more than great. Her smile and way of talking and explaining the menu was amazing. The food wasgreat. Great service, great food. Scallops are great! To add to the review I would also recommend checking out the satellite bar (when... open) while waiting for your table or even enjoying music in the park. Finish up your evening with a hummer or awesome coffeeand/or peanut butter pie or the pretzel brownie sundae. Read more
Saw another rating and they said the walleye wasn't walleye. I agree it is not walleye! When I asked the waiter he said it was... and I said it doesn't look like it and it doesn't taste like it. He said they use only the tail end that's why, LOL. I guess itshould be called a walleye tail plate. My Wife had the haddock and chips, also terrible. Now I know why they didn't returnand ask how the food was. I can say the seafood chowder was nice and so was the view. I recommend enjoying the view from thedoc and eat somewhere else. Read more
