Long standing staple in the area. I've been coming here since I was little and it hasn't changed much. Big fan of the frog legs... and lamb chops thought I wish the chops were served with mint jelly. Also love the perch and ribs. Read more

Emily knocked it our of the park with service. The prime rib was tender, cooked medium rare as ordered and flavorful. Fries and... veggies were excellent. Carrot cake was ok but a little heavy with oil... beer was cold, need I say more. Read more

Out-of-towner review: After 2 days of gas station food and AWFUL pizza, we found this place and it was incredible! I've been to... fine restaurants across this country, and this is honestly up there with Ruth's Cris, et al. Amazing food, friendly andcompetent staff, and very reasonable prices for this type of fare. An absolute gem in the middle of 'nowhere'.... If you're inthe area, do yourself a favor and eat here. Staff at Boyne Highlands told us where to get a good steak and they were correct. Medium rare prime sirloin for me and slab of... ribs for her. Both, on point. Fantastic food. The portions are big and hardy. I will recommend this to friends and family. I had the cajun calamari sorry for... fuzzy picture, rib eye steak and my wife had ravioli. We were both pleased. One thing I did wish was a little better was theattention from servers. Seemed a little far between refills and asking how we were for being slow. But everything else was sogood 5 stars is a must. Servers are very nice tho. Read more
