I called in a pepperoni pizza when I went to Kroger to pick up a few things. I picked up my huge pepperoni pizza and was... surprised to find that the price had increased by about 25% since my last order. Since everything else has increased, I took itin stride and headed home with pizza in tow. When I finally got to have a slice of pizza, I was very disappointed! Not only didthe price increase, the topping amounts decreased significantly. There was barely enough sauce to taste and the cheese andpepperoni were so sparse there wasn't even the usual grease flow down my arm. It didn't taste good at all! So disappointed! This is a Pizza place. We had a Benny Bruschetta, which was a special. They cut a slice for us 2/3 and 1/3 because I am a... smaller eater. It was excellent. Went to Kroger's then came back for more to take home for dinner. When I say huge slices...Imean huge. Great service, friendly. Also got a kick out of Calvin and Hobbs wallpaper in bathroom. They are open 11 to 9 everyday. Plus they change their specials once a month. Three pieces of pizza and one drink was 21 dollars; as I said slices arehuge. You can't go wrong. It's kid-friendly and because you can do toppings you can do vegetarian. It's in a little complexplenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility. Read more
I come here often and the staff are always nice and polite. Pizza is always excellent. One time a whole pizza was slightly too... done for a customer so we got it for $10 when they're usual about $30 I believe. Read more
by far the WORST customer service I have come across in Virginia. Started by messing up on a internet order, but did send a... gift certificate but when I tried to use it they acted like I was lying and wanted me to read the whole thing over the phone toprove I had a gift certificate (bazaar) but then after that ordeal was over, they wanted to over-charge me for a so-called"automatic" 15% tip even though I was NOT eating inside (phone pickup order). After I told them that was insane they hung up onme! Yes, you read that correct - they hung up on me! Never have I experienced such an insult. In the past I have spent bigmoney ordering from several of their locations for office events, well that just ended today! Never again will a single cent ofmy earnings be spent at Benny's. Zero stars - I can only hope they go out of business. On a side note, the pizza is only atourist trap anyhow, people marvel at the novelty of the size, it isn't that special otherwise. I don't know what some of these other people are talking about, their bad experiences were probably their own bad attitude. I... have been eating at this location for years and usually never buy more than 2 slices, so it's not like I'm a big spender, Iusually just get enough for myself or me and my girlfriend and I have to say that in several years of eating here, I have zerocomplaints. The pizza is great, never a long wait and I love the casual laid back atmosphere where you can eat good pizza andhave a beer. I do wish they offered a little more variety 5 or 6 dollar slices with things like bacon or steak, but that isnitpicking. Just don't ever stop the big $4 cheese slice and I will continue to come back. Great place at the lake. Read more
Worst pizza ever! Got 2 slices - 1 steak and 1 onion and peppers....pizza toppings were cold and the steak was so tough that I... couldn't chew it! I ended up scraping the toppings off and ate basically a cheese pizza and still threw half of it away. Terrible...just terrible! Read more
