My family and I went for dinner for my mothers birthday (6 adults and 2 toddlers). We have been here before and we?re always... satisfied with our experience but tonight was a different story. Our bread could?ve passed for hockey pucks - forgivable -things happen. My husband ordered the filet special - the cut that was served to him was full of gristle, cooked horribly, anddefinitely didn?t appear to be a filet at all. The staff and chef insisted on making a new steak which we tried to insist wasunnecessary but it did come out much better the second time. The aspect of the meal which was unforgivable was the chickenfingers and fries we ordered for our children to share. Thank goodness we thought to cut the chicken because they were RAW inthe middle! We were shocked! The staff did everything they could to correct the mistakes - which we truly appreciated butunfortunately we will never return. Read more
We made last minute reservations and had excellent meals. My husband had the ribeye with onions which he really enjoyed and he... is a very picky eater. I had mussels, clams and scallops over linguini with white wine sauce which was delicious! Most timeswith a seafood pasta dish there is not enough seafood and too much pasta, but they provided a generous amount of seafood and aperfect amount of pasta. The lemon dessert was yummy! Great experience. Food was excellent and service was outstanding even though it was fairly crowded. Very nice atmosphere outside... looking at the pond. Good sized portions, fairly priced. Nice to have a restaurant that isn?t gouging its customers like so manyare doing. Read more
The steak was mostly gristle. The chicken Parm was good. Salad was small. The atmosphere is very nice. Service was very good.... Servers were very friendly and attentive. Restroom was very nice and clean. Bread was not warm. Steak was not hot. So niceexperience but the food did not measure up to the bill. Read more
I've been coming here on and off for a few years as my girlfriend's (now wife) family loved it. I too love this restaurant as... the staff is super friendly, service is on par and the food is out of this world. I've never had a bad meal here! I got marriedthis weekend and we had the rehearsal dinner here with up to 40 people. A big thank you to the staff for all your excellentservice and for dealing with us! An extra hug thank you to Fred, the owner, for working with my mother to make sure this eventwent without issues and ensuring everything was jsut perfect. You all really went the extra mile and I could not have had abetter time. You really helped to make this a special occasion for us!!! Read more
Our first time at Villa Vito. What a quaint cute restaurant. We had reservations and there wasn?t a table open. Glad we made... reservations. The staff was super friendly and brought bread and olive oil right away. The downstairs dinning area is very cozywith just the right lighting. It?s BYOB so make sure you take a bottle with you. The food was excellent! We started with grilledoctopus which was cooked perfectly. We had Bronzino and seafood dish . Both were cooked perfectly. I took a pic of theoctopus. 2/15/20.. We returned again for a second time and they did not disappoint. It?s a good feeling when the owneractually greets you at the front and welcomes you back by name!!! The food was excellent once again. The decor and ambiance isvery inviting. Patrons are sitting all around you laughing and having a great time. This is a restaurant right out of Manhattanor Philly.
