Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! The place was packed but the staff was efficient and very attentive and got through the long line... quickly. The unique menu really was awesome! The food was fanatic and the staff was extremely friendly and went way above andbeyond for us. Since I am a small business owner myself I like to support local Michigan businesses and WOW - this was the fisttime There but it blew my mind and we will be registrars going forward! Read more

First time here, but we?ll definitely be returning! The bagels were great, and so were the specialty cream cheeses. Must try the... pumpkin cream cheese! It was phenomenal! The staff was super friendly too. So glad we stopped in to try it! Read more

Tried this spot for the first time today! I ordered a Parmesan bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese. I?m very picky with foods and... wasn?t in-love with how the eggs on the first bagel looked. I called and (the owner?) Jeff insisted I come back for him to makeme a fresh one on the house! I did, and he even offered for me to keep the first one as well! He threw in a pack of chocolatechip cookies with the new sandwich and insisted I call him back if there were any issues at all, and that he?d take care of it.He was very kind about the situation, and handled it as best as he possibly could have. I will definitely be coming back here. The re-made bagel was FANTASTIC! And I appreciated the kindness of Jeff and all of the girls working the front counter as well.He handled that as a great business owner would, and with a smile on his face. I would highly recommend this place!???? thankyou Jeff! Read more

I randomly discovered this place in my neighborhood 1 week ago and I've already been back 3 times. A large variety of bagels to... choose from and they're so yummy and FRESH! They make their own cream cheese and they're very rich in flavor and texture. Thestaff is friendly and they greet everyone. This place gets quite busy on Saturdays; weekday mornings are little bit slower (inmy experience). My favorite so far is the Chipotle Turkey Club on a Cinnamon Rasin Bagel! Try them, your entire family willthank you. I promise. Note: the parking and entrance is located away from the street on the pposite side of Harper Ave. Read more

We love these bagels! I highly recommend the Asiago bagel, with garlic chive cream cheese! So good! We also love the blueberry,... chocolate bagels too. Best part, you order and pay online, then walk in and pick up your order at the front table, no waiting inline if you?re in a hurry. Friendly staff, excellent food. Thanks!!! Read more

We came in and got in a long line behind about a dozen people and gradually worked our way towards the front. Luckily there's a... menu to look at while you're waiting which is nice. Once you get to the front somebody will take your order and just so you knowthat same person will bring your order to you, after a while. While you're waiting you pay, honor system I guess, guy just askswhat you ordered and you tell him. Then you wait, in a crowd, we didn't know how this worked so after a bit I asked the guy atthe cash register and he said that he will remember us.. Eventually the same guy that took our order came out with a bag of ourfood and brought it to us at our table. While we waited we were able to grab a booth which was cool, always like to eat my foodwhen it's the freshest. So the sandwiches were delicious except one was miniature, not sure why but felt kind of ripped off fora $9 or $10 sandwich it was tiny, can see in the photo. They came with bagel crisps and a pickle which was nice except the bagelcrisps definitely need some cream cheese so it's sort of like an upsell. Unsold bagels turned into crisps that causes people tobuy cream cheese, which is exactly what we did, got back in line for cream cheese. The garlic cream cheese was delicious also.Oh yeah the avocado on the one sandwich was pretty rock hard. Weird thing, the owner was talking to a taller gentleman who triedhittin on a girl that was there waiting and she did not like it, awwwwkward... Read more

Have been getting bagels here for 20 yrs. Recent experiences have been very disappointing. Wait times ridiculous. Workers seem... more interested in helping friends than people who come in weekly. Sandwiches have not been made correctly last several visits. Today I ordered egg, bacon, tomato bagel sandwich and after 30 min wait got alot of bacon with about half the usual egg andcheese instead of tomato. Very sad to see a place we love go down the drain. If you grew up on the East Coast, this is the closest to New York and New Jersey style bagels you will find. Their Everything... Bagel is delicious, and while the plain bagel was a little dirtier, the bottom half of it was delicious... What would that searthat came from the oven. Also, the bagels are a tid smaller than anyone from the coast might expect, but it's not a wholedistraction especially if you're looking for a diamond in the rough, which this is. I'm astonished that more people haven't donewhat Eastside bagels have done. However, and I say this with the utmost gratefulness for finding an actual bagel in DetroitLand... Their egg game is off. I have no idea what it takes to put together a proper workflow or cost analysis for actual eggs, but the powder eggs just don't do it. That's my only observation. I offer great thankfulness for their work! Read more
