The bar was closed but pizza was available. Staff was great. It was only one guy but still great. Pizza I ordered was so gooood... and fast. I'm sure I don't know why only pizza is open, but Jake's food is always top notch. Read more
It's not the same old Jake's. But for pizza, strombolis and calzones, it's fantastic! My wife got the barbecue chicken calzones... and says it was one of the best things she'd ever eaten. The ricotta and mozzarella were the freshest she had ever tasted. Mysupreme calzone was absolutely perfect, too! Nice big screen to watch the game on, too. Read more
Food was great they are short staffed and extremely busy so good so there might be a wait. The owner was really polite and... friendly. We really loved the pizza and will be back. Also note the night we went they ran out of pizza dough. Just a testamentto how good it is. Read more
**** UPDATE. No, sir, this isn't a competitor review as you have insinuated. I have since found better pizza! Look at THAT... review with the picture of their cheese drowned pizza! I leave great reviews when they are deserved. We tried to support yourbusiness. I looked forward to going there! You have cut back and cut back and put the BLAME GAME on everyone. However, it isyour restaurant that has declined. Your restaurant is the one hurting. I am sad for you. You never offered to make it right tokeep this customer coming back. That might have made me try your place one more time. But alas, nothing. I work hard for mymoney and deserve a great pizza!***End of update 08/20/22*** I have been coming here for over a year. They HAD the best pizza.Our favorite was the Hot & Spicy! Now the draft beers are gone. Only bottled beer. We went in at 7PM. We were told there wouldbe an hour wait. We came back at 7:30. I guess they were running low on cheese by then because our pizza reflected that. I am sodisappointed. I was really looking forward to a picher of beer, a Hot & Spicy pizza and our favorite waitress, Kimberly. Wewon't be back anymore because I feel this pizza with minimal cheese isn't worth $19 plus tax and tip. So sad because this areahas zero good pizza places now. Read more
Finally got to go and try the pizza. Had to wait 20 extra minutes for my pizza after I already ordered. But the wait was totally... worth the price. I was looking for a good NY pizza in a constant failing town. Not only am I going to return but I’m going totell everyone I know about it. As a fellow small business owner I understand it’s hard to keep it going now days, but I willsupport Jake’s pizza whenever I can and I would recommend you do also. Read more
Having a Beer while I wait for my order! How can you beat that!? I grew up in New Jersey and I’ve been in Tennessee for over... 17 years. The scenery was so refreshing. It made me feel at home. The pizza was definitely a New York style pizza, Good, I stillsay New Jersey makes the best pizza ???? I went back two weeks later to try out the burger and fries.
