They are always busy, and we didn't have to wait very long to be seated. Most of us ordered breakfast. Their prices have gone... up, as they have everywhere. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, but little of it was prepared with the things we specificallyrequested... like bacon crispy or add chopped jalapeños instead if green peppers. The homefries were not fried enough. I tookthem home and browned them up myself. Next time, I think we'd try lunch items. Read more
A nice little hidden gem with great food and it's hot! Now on the other hand, the guy that was working the front seating people,... he can use some more training; he doesn't communicate with customers very well-at all! This was our first time stopping in on our way through Harrisburg. It was somewhat busy but only took about 10mins to seat a... family of four. There is a large menu of items so lots to choose from. I ordered the grouper and it was too salty for me andnot what I expected for a grilled fish plate as it was very oily. This feels like a favorite spot for people to be inHarrisburg. Finally made it here for the first time and I?m wishing I had come sooner! I came here for breakfast. Food quality was great,... service was good, staff was all courteous. Prices are very reasonable and the menu selection was extensive and easilyaccommodated my eating lifestyle. Can?t wait to come back! Read more
My dad's been frequenting this restaurant lately. I joined him for dinner on Sat, 10-2. There were quite a few choices &... everything was reasonably priced. The portions were generous. I couldn't eat everything & thats not just because I had brunchearlier. Our server was pleasant & attentive. My side of okra didn't come out with my order of calabash shrimp and grilledflounder. She apologized, said it was still cooking, & would bring it right out when it was done. I'm sure I drove by thisplace a million times over the years. This was my 1st time. Probably won't be the last. Great place to go for home cooking when you don?t feel like cooking yourself. I?ve never had a bad meal here. The service is... always great. They?ll make sure to refill your drink often. They always have specials and it?s always a nice variety. I had themarinated beef strips with rice and gravy the last time I was here and really enjoyed it. The inside isn?t dated and is keptclean.
