The gyro and chicken over rice were gorgeous! $18 for both, and the portions were great. The owner is super sweet, very... friendly, and always remembers a regular. If you're on the fence, don't be! It's delicious food and it supports a local smallbusiness ???? PA needs more food trucks, and this is a great one! Read more

Absolutely hideous food. Falafel was rock hard cold. Rude guy would not answer questions. It was as if he had to paid to open... his mouth. Never coming back and will ask people to stay away from this place. Serving halal food. At least do justice to Halal. Read more

So friendly and food so delicious!!! I live in Lancaster and want to bring my family just to try the food!! This is the best... gyro around and I've tried them all. The diners and even souvlaki bros aren't even good. This little food truck is EXCELLENT. Wewill have to organize a trip to the museum and make a little day trip out of it so some of my friends/family can try. Read more

Good lamb over rice. However, portion could be better for the price. It?s too overpriced.

This is becoming my favorite lunch truck. It's located at the corner of 2nd Street and Pine Street, right outside of Santander... Bank. I've only tried their Lamb Gyro on Pita Bread, but that alone is enough for me to write a 4 star review for now. GreatValue: $5 for chicken gyro and $6 for lamb or beef gyro, tax included. Of course a low price tag alone is not a sufficientgauge of value. They absolutely jam-pack the protein of your choice into each pita bread. One gyro is enough to stuff yourface! Great Taste: I am salivating as I look at the picture I took and reminisce the experience. The lamb with white and spicysauces was delicious and addicting. The pita bread is the thick, warm, springy kind I crave for a gyro, and they nailedit. Comparisons: Based on my experiences around Harrisburg thus far: The gyro from Phyllo is nice, but the serving is way toosmall; 2nd Street Shawarma isn't bad but they serve gyros on wraps instead of springy pitas. I've yet to find and try GyroExpress. So far my vote goes to New York Gyro. UPDATE: After trying out Gyro Express, I am now crowning New York Gyros the kingof gyros in the Harrisburg area. Up one star to 5 :) Read more
