I visited this place in May, I think, and my socks were knocked off. It was delicious (except for the tap water) and the service... was great, too. Went back last week, and - different menu, no Thai iced coffee - and whole different vibe. The food was alsodifferent and not in a good way. I didn't even take the leftovers home. No true dine in services. Stopped by here hoping for the same great service and food but was completely disappointed. I wanted... to dine in and had to go to counter to give my order, pay upfront and then be served on a plastic tray with a paper plate andplastic utensils. Had to go to counter multiple times for sauce and napkins. This is really sad because I have gone to Hong KongRuby more then 20 years. Will probably not visit again. Read more
I don't know what happened. We used to LOVE Hong Kong Ruby. The orange shrimp was our go to. But this time I don't know if they... changed their recipe or some of their ingredients had gone off or what, but the food was just bad. Like can't even eat the $60worth of food you just ordered bad. It even smelled off. It may have been the orange peel, since that was in two of the dishesthat tasted off, and a piece of it I ate tasted bad. Whatever it was, it's a real shame. We used to recommend this place toothers, but not any more. Things have really gone down hill. Such a shame. Read more
My beef and mushroom dish was good. These stir fried rice was not as good as I remember having in the past. Service was very... gracious. We decided to eat there and they served using takeout boxes and plastic forks and spoons. Read more
My go-to only Chinese I will eat, all food prepared in house no frozen veggies, no after taste. The food is full of flavor and... meat. We get lunch specials either chicken, shrimp, or beef and broccoli, or the orange chicken(I add broccoli to mine? which isextra 1.50 but it?s worth it). The veggie roll that comes with the lunch special is AWESOME! Lite and crunchy! 10/10 lunchspecial also comes with pork or egg fried rice, I get egg, my kids get port but it?s so goooooooood. please don?t go anywhereelse you will be disappointed at the quality! Found a bug in my food after I ate over half the meal. Very disappointed as this has been my wife and I's go to spot. I always... got the general Tso complete dinner. Very upset and will have to find a new establishment that values clean and safe workenvironment. Read more
