My husband and I were in town for a mini getaway. We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and quite happy we did. It was all... by chance and it was the best food and experience I could?ve asked for. Will our waiter was so helpful and incredibly attentive.He helped us navigate the beer and menu and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the cast iron chicken, polenta andbrussels. He had the meatloaf. The sauces are made from the many beer choices and they were so good I could?ve eaten them with aspoon/bread. We had potstickers and dessert too. Have never been disappointed when eating here. The menu ingredients are sourced locally. This night we had pan seared chicken... with creamy, cheesy polenta and Brussel sprouts (so yum!) And my husband had BBQ braised short ribs which were fall off the boneand sooo tender and the BBQ sauce was very delicious. As mentioned we have never been disappointed with a meal here. Their brewsare also very good. A taste for every palate. I recommend the flight if you're not sure what you like. We haven't been here in a very long time. We had a great meal of wings, thin crust pepperoni pizza, and and double chocolate... beer ????. I just want to say that this is by far the best chocolate beer around! It's smooth, not bitter, and does not havethat chocolate kick back like the others. We had a very nice time here. The service was a little slow, but friendly. We started with a flight of six of their beers. All... very good and our favorites were the #13 old school pale ale and #3 strawberry wheat, but the one that stands out was #6 freshroasted peanutbutter ale which was very smooth. Love this place! The news are great, and so is the food. I really wish their beer had a larger distribution area, because it is... really good. We came here late after a day at Hershey, and were treated to good drinks, great food, and friendly service. Themenu doesn't stay far from pub classics, but they do them really well. On the brews, I highly recommend the strawberry wheat orthe lemon blueberry shandy. Both were outstanding. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for more. This was a great dining experience. Read more
A great option for upscale American fare / drinks. Good customer and good food service. I wanted to treat myself to something... tasty around the area and the other local options didn't seem as inspiring. Pics (beer flight/ boar chili / wagyu/porkmeatloaf) The beer was surprisingly good. Of the 6 I tried, the Lancaster lager, peanut butter ale, and blue trail shandy werethe clear winners. I don't typically enjoy novelty beers like the last two, but they were both pleasantly surprising. The shandydoesn't taste artificial at all and you can actually taste the fresh lemon and blueberry in it! (Also ordered were theweissbier, hop hog ipa, double IPA) Chili was savory and the meatloaf was also very tasty (moist and rich). Tldr: worth a stopif you're in the area. Read more
