Delicious food and the staff is super friendly. The prices are reasonable for the quality food. The vibe inside is very chill... for the most part. Dim lighting with neon aesthetics and a fish tank. Cute! Read more

Stopped by today to grab a quick bite with my daughter. We were greeted immediately upon entering. Atmosphere is pretty laid... back staff very friendly and attentive. Our server came up and introduced herself right away. We started off with the flamingvolcano (highly recommend btw... its sweet but not too sweet and strong!) We had seaweed salad, Taki Yaki, Unagi Don, Sheczhuandumplings, crispy friend snapper with brown rice. Food was awesome, we gobbled up most of it and ended up with some leftovers totake home. I had mentioned to our server it was my daughter's birthday and she surprised us with a slice of cheesecake and happybirthday written in chocolate on the plate. Overall this was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our bill was less than$100. I will definitely be returning soon. Read more

We have been to this restaurant many times but tonight was our last! After my husband worked all day in the 90 degree heat, he... expected to go for a date night and be able to relax in the air conditioning. Instead we were seated as usual and quicklystarted to realize that their air conditioning was not working. We were sweating so much and so uncomfortable that we couldn?teven eat our food. The attached picture shows the thermostat at 88 degrees (first photo is to show that?s where we were)! Thestaff did NOTHING about it. They did not notify anyone at the door that the air conditioning was broken on a 93 degree day. Theydid not compensate for the extreme inconvenience and disappointment. When I talked to the manager all he could say was ?sorry, there?s nothing we can do?. They had no empathy for the experience we just had at their restaurant along with many other andthey refused to provide me with a number or contact information for the owner. Read more

I will never visit this establishment again due to their poor customer service. My husband and I recently went to Shogun for a... hibachi dinner with our 2 young children, ages 4 and 2. My husband and I have gone to this restaurant for years but it was ourfirst time taking our children. We ordered 2 regular hibachi meals and 1 Kids hibachi chicken meal, as we knew it would beplenty of food for all 4 of us (2 regular meals alone would?ve been more than enough). Because the waitress heard us mentionthat the kids would share their meal, unbeknownst to us, she disregarded our request for a kids meal and rang it in as a regularone. Since we?ve never taken the kids before, we didn?t know what to expect for the kids hibachi portion. The chef confirmedall of our protein choices, and prepared the meal. We ate and boxed up our leftover food. When our waitress gave us the bill, werealized we were charged for 3 regular meals instead of 2 regular and 1 kids meal. After we discussed it with her, she came backand said there was nothing they could do because the chef cooked the meal and we ate it. She admitted that she entered the kidsorder in as a regular meal because we mentioned it would be shared. We then asked to speak to a manager but instead the waitresscame back and said ?we fixed the price but we want your leftover food back.? We gave her the container with the leftover foodfrom one of the meals, paid the bill, and stopped at the front to speak to a manager on our way out. He wasn?t any better totalk to and made us feel like it was our fault for not catching that the chef was preparing a regular meal instead of a kidsmeal (even though we had no clue what a kids meal portion looks like.) The experience and interaction was absolutely ridiculous.I just hope they tossed the food they requested back and didn't try to repurpose it but I guess we?ll never know. Read more

The sushi at Shogun is phenomenal. Their signature rolls are amazing and there is something for everyone. Whether you like the... fresh light rolls or fried tempura they are all full of flavor and taste so so good. The 5125 roll is my absolute favorite. I?vebrought out of town guests to Shogun and they even confirmed that it?s the best sushi they?ve ever had. Read more

This place ain?t it. It?s a miss. The appetizers were good but little overpriced. I had the calamari. The sushi rice was dried... and it was probably old rice. The rolls were so thin the rice did not completely cover the seaweed paper. When you pick it up it falls apart very easily. And the biggest miss was the deal on signature rolls. Buy one get the 2nd roll for 5$. Seems like agood deal if you only buy the same priced rolls on one ticket. It would of been cheaper if I did separate ticket. Since I boughttwo 16.95$ rolls and two 14.95$ rolls. The rolls were overpriced for how small and low quality it was. My local bento place hasbetter rolls for 10$. Also the waitress didn?t even include the deal I had to ask her for it. Also the party next to us hadtheir meal free because the quality was so bad. Yeah just skipped this place. Read more

The one great thing were the chop sticks. Designed to be easy to use, as illustrated in the picture. However, sushi was good... without being extraordinary. Service was flat, one of those times when you know the person doesn?t want to be there but doestheir duty with no enthusiasm. Definitely the bathroom needs to be cleaner. Read more
