Pros: Pumpkin pecan pancakes with real maple syrup along with oatmilk latte were worth the wait! Relaxing comfortable... atmosphere. Friendly staff. They grind their own beans and it?s brewed quite strong. I requested less espresso in my drink andit was perfect. Cons: Have to wait in line to order and only one checkout. Tried Golden Chai & Blue Pea tea. Both tasted good and were frothy. Tomato pie's crust had great texture. It was flacky and... soft. It had way too many tomatoes for me. Probably a mini pie would be ideal as it is more crusty. Rosemary potatoes were justalright. The ambience was nice. Read more
Came on a rainy cold morning which made this place hit the spot. Great lattes to start. Got the breakfast monte Carlo using... french toast for bread and tomato pie flipper, basically an omelette with tomato and cheese filling. Whenever I travel on business, I always like to find small local business especially if they serve different types of coffee and... food. This place was one of the first I tried when I moved to Central PA and it remains one of the top restaurants to try when you?re... in the area. I don?t even LIKE tomatoes and I LOVE their tomato pie. I had a lovely breakfast here this morning. The name "Tomato Pie Cafe" intrigued us, and when we found out we could, in fact,... eat tomato pie, we were in. The breakfast was scrumptious. We ordered the tomato pie flipper which was the pie filling wrappedup in three eggs sort of fritatta style. The butternut squash was absolutely delectable and my mocha was adorable and delicious.We were out of town and missed that you grab your own silverware but our server was kind enough to bring us some.
