Not really sure what happened today, but I ran into a very rude staff member. The worker who took my order was great, but the... girl who gave it to me at the next window was unnesscessarily nasty. She asked if I needed a spoon and I said "A spoon would begood." which I suspect she heard as "No, I'm good." I corrected myself and said I would like a spoon. She gave it to me, slammedthe window and loudly remarked something along the lines of "Don't say you're good if you want one. Make up yourmind!!" Seriously though, I get it. It's hot out. She's probably been working all day (hey, so have I), but why snark at me? It was a very small problem to loudly complain about and reflects very poorly on the business. Do better. Read more
They used to be gracious about accommodating allergies. Both times we have gone this year they gave us a hard time about... accommodating a peanut allergy. Good news is other places serve Giffords and still do a great job accommodating us. The icecream and portions here are good and rating reflects our experience being unable to patronize them due to an allergy. Read more
Good ice cream at a reasonable price; large servings. A long list of flavors for both hard and soft serve ice cream. Fast,... friendly service. You may have to wait in line to place order and for pickup; they're working as fast as they can! It's worthit! Read more
My son dropped his ice cream in the dirt immediately after receiving it and the owner saw this. Without being prompted or asked,... the owner had a new ice cream made for my son, free of charge. The ice cream is very good and the location is amazing, but thistype of generosity is what makes this place great. Read more
Great place for a cold sweet treat. Nice outdoor seating by the lake to enjoy sunset while you enjoy your ice cream.
We visited recently with a toddler with allergies. The manager met with us, cleaned the soft serve machine thoroughly, prepared... the ice cream AND gave us extra rainbow sprinkles. We are not "regulars". She doesn't know us. She just CARES. BTW, The hardserve is Giffords and SPECTACULAR. Read more
A fun place to visit, either by boat or by car. They sell lots of Gifford's hard serve flavors and all sorts of soft serves,... many things you never would have thought could be ice cream. Its a very small shop with only one window for taking orders,because of this it takes a long time to get your ice cream. Read more
