Great restaurant in Harrison fusing American with Portuguese cuisine. Interesting take on a sports bar, family friendly with... great waiting staff. Food was fantastic and great if you fancied something a little different from the norm. Very largeportions! Read more

Joia has the best seafood of the whole area! It has absolutely delicious paella and fry calamari. All of their frying dishes are... splendid. My favorite is their seafood platter(at my time MP $105 for 2-3 people large portion!!!!!) very fresh, good qualityingredients, large portion, fair pricing. Awesome place for casual diners and dates! I moved to Harrison in July 2020, and La Joia is hands down the best restaurant in the town. Whether it’s takeout or dinning... in the restaurant always expect: Generous & Great sized portions, great drinks—try the Blue Sangria and then thank me later????, and great service. Portuguese food with many different options, flavors and their presentation of the food is alwaysembellished yet still always feels like a home cooked meal. La Joia always has daily specials which I see on their Instagramaccount. I even recommended the restaurant to a friend’s mother last month and I was told that she has now been there multipletimes. Seafood paella: Half lobster (not full), 1 crab claw, rice is extremely salty, Lots of food in the dish (can portion for several... days) Surf and turf: No taste in lobster and meat.
