I love this restaurant. I both eat there on special occasions as well as have dd from there. The ladies are very kind. They seat... you immediately, bring drinks immediately, provide prompt kind service and the food is chef's kiss! <3 Its a great environment.I LOVE it so much! I always look forward to whatever experience I will have with them. I have been going there since my 16thbirthday and the food just gets better with each year! They have a great selection of food, sushi and have a special house ricethat is like no other! The food has a unique taste. I highly recommend! Read more
My mom and I stopped here twice on our latest visit to the area. This is a small restaurant with a single dining room and a... short buffet line, but they serve all the usual favorites on it and prepare them very well. The only oddity is that the platesand bowls are stacked almost in the middle of the buffet tables instead of at one end. Don't overlook the sushi bar, which isseparate from the main buffet line in the raised area. They had great choices there too. Read more

Golden China has very good food at this restaurant and I enjoy the variety of foods they have at the buffet and serving myself... all I can eat for an affordable price. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is none of the waitresses know very muchEnglish and that was very disappointing when I had to catch their attention when I accidentally ate Wasabi sauce when I thoughtit was guacamole sauce and my mouth was on fire and I was trying to ask them if they had any milk so my mouth would cool downlol. Otherwise than that incident and then not speaking very much English I enjoy eating here. Read more

The Staff are there to Help you. The Dining Room all Seating is New. TheirSushi is Wonderful & is made every 30 minutes ~ so Many Customers come to eat it because of it's Freshness. (Everyone needs toWear a Mask & Gloves at this Buffet!! It's To Protect Everyone & You. While staying in the Harrisonburg, VA area we went in search of a good Chinese buffet on 04 Oct, 2022 and after considering... reviews & ratings we found ourselves at the 'Golden China Restaurant'. They offer an all you care to eat buffet that inaddition to all the regular Chinese dishes you'd expect, includes a small sushi bar. Now I'm not a sushi fan, so I can notpersonally speak to the quality of their offerings. However I can speak to the quality of many of the offerings on theremaining part of their buffet. Their Broccoli Beef & Green Pepper Steak are made with some of the tenderest beef that I'veever found on a Chinese buffet. The Kung Pao Chicken was also among the best I've encountered on a buffet as well. In additionto those dishes, I found the Crab Meat Rangoons, Egg Rolls, Shrimp, and Bourbon Chicken to be exactly what you'd expect them tobe and rather tasty. The singular disappointing dish was the General Tso's Chicken, it should've been labeled "Sweet Chicken"because there was zero likeness to any General Tso's sauce that I've ever had and was simply chicken in a sweet sauce. The coldsection of the bar contained several fresh fruit options as well as some "sweets" for dessert. They also offer a variety ofindividually packaged ice cream which I applaud them for. The 'Golden China Restaurant' will be my "go to" Chinese buffet onfuture visits to this area. Read more
