Stopped for dinner when passing through on the road. My wife had the Blooming Chicken, a house salad and mixed veggies. She... was fine with her meal. I had a 12 oz outback prime rib, asparagus and mashed potatoes. I ordered a rare prime rib, they cameback and said the best they could do was medium (and this at 5:30 PM!) but I got it anyway. Except for the edges which weretasty, the bulk of the prime rib was as tough as shoe leather and for the first time in my life I wasn't able to finish a steak. Same thing with the asparagus - I don't even know how someone could cook asparagus and have it come out so tough and stringy. And to top it off, they charged me 2.50 extra for the asparagus after telling me when I ordered that it would be included withmy meal. I pointed this all out to the server and she said "Sorry". Dinner was absolutely delicious from the wings to the salad to the steak!! A big shout out to the cooks!! This was by far our... best experience at Outback and our server Ryan was awesome!! He was so attentive and his personality was perfect (he was polite,fun, energetic and honest) He went out of his way to make our visit very enjoyable! We will be back for another date night!! Our server Mateo, was excellent and the food was great. We met the Lexi, the manager and she too was excellent. Very refreshing... to be in a restaurant where employees seem happy to be of service. We had dinner here two nights in a row when vacationing in the area. Food and service was great. The staff was pleasant and... professional; they were very attentive too. First, let me say that our server, Madison, was excellent from start to finish! My surf n' turf (filet & lobster) was absolutely... scrumptious! Even though the filet appeared to be charred on the outside at first glance, it did not taste charred at all. Iordered it medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection! The carrots in the vegetable medley were a bit undercooked but the restof the vegetables were perfect. I did add on shrimp to my entree for an extra cost. 4 shrimp came with my plate and I will saythey were a bit dry, but overall the meal was amazing. My son ordered the chicken tenders for kids and he said they tasted bad.But, I often find with kids that they can eat something one day and think it's the best thing since sliced bread and then eatthe exact same thing the next day and swear is horrible! Lol Just to be sure, I tried one of his chicken tenders and they tastedfine. I think maybe the fryer oil might have needed to be changed because they did seem to have that "old oil" taste to them,but I certainly wouldn't say they were bad. He ate all his fries and of course that whole loaf of awesome bread they bring youso he definitely didn't go hungry! Overall, I give our experience, meal and service, ?????'s! Dominick our server went above and beyond to go back and forth between our table of over 40 adults and our younger adults to... pair us up to split the check.
