We've eaten at Gondolier restaurants in other locations and found this one to be the very best so far. The food quality and... quantity were great. Service was exceptionally good. The variety of menu items was much better than most. I had the lasagnewhich was really well prepared. Husband had spaghetti with meat sauce and ate all of it and said it was excellent. You can get the spinach pie all by itself! I know I've got pictures of all sorts but the one thing I have to rave about is the... strawberry cake. I got it to go and had it with coffee the next morning and it was still moist and it was amazing. So glad wedecided to get some to go, zero regrets. Read more
The only true Italian place around. Staff is always great and stays on top of filling orders and refills. Wide menu selection... that everyone can find something they like. Food is always top notch and is the same every time. If you have a large group callahead and make a reservation. We normally try to book the back patio area which is more private for a large group. We are from Missouri and are traveling. We were in the mood for Italian, so we ate at this restaurant We had never eaten at a... Gondalier Restaurant before. We love Olive Gardens and the lasagna and fettuccine were fine but near as good as an OliveGarden. Plus, my lasagna had big pieces of green stuff and stems in it! And, something set off my allergies, either the sauce,lasagna, breadsticks, or zucchini sticks?.idk. Anyway everything was good, but I didn?t like the big green chunks I waspulling out of my lasagna. We had a good experience coming to this restaurant. I had the Spinach Pie and my friend had the Chicken Parmesan. We both had a... side salad and bread sticks with our meals, which we both agreed was the best part of the experience. The entrees were very goodas well though and we will order them again! The lack of one star comes from the waitress. Unfortunately, the staff seemedpreoccupied with guests dining that they personally knew and attended to them rather than other customers. The table next to uswas ready to leave when finally the waitress told them she was coming. I think there needs to be some more professionalismestablished with the waiting staff. Read more
