The setting is beautiful. Some of the reviews are a bit harsh. True that the wine would be better served in glass rather than... plastic. The food is fine. Nothing special but ok . The service is pretty good and the people are nice. It is self-serve as itis obvious due to covid, location, employment etc. this is the best system for them at the moment. It is what it is and if yourexpectations are only for something that is nice and okay this will do. Fancier dining means Fancier prices. I will gladlyreturn. Absolutely gorgeous view and always wonderful experience at Viewpointe. Makes for a great afternoon experience. I love that... in our own little Essex County we can enjoy so many different places. Love to head out here for some love music and a yummywine slushy. Food is always excellent and staff always helpful and accommodating. Positives: decent wine selection, great view, the fish tacos were tasty and the 2 dessert options were good. Negatives: the... whole self-serve situation is unnecessarily complicated and cheapens the experience. Wine in a cheap plastic cup at a wineryfrom all the places? Atleast get nicer plastic cups. The overpriced food comes in takeout containers and you will eat it onplastic picnic tables. Avoid the wings, they have zero seasoning and the side sauces don't help it. Take my review with a grain of salt as the low score might be a one off experience, but my group didnt find any of the wines to... be good at all. Perhaps all of our samples were off, but my group of 4 all chose different wines and didnt enjoy any ofthem.
