Recently ordered takeout from Four dads. The prices are amazing, especially for the area. I got four slices, a few salads and... garlic knots for under 35 dollars total. My Bobby McGee slice was a little dry but the cheeseburger in paradise slice wasprobably one of the most unique slices I?ve ever had! Very juicy with fresh ingredients!! Most amazing little spot I've been to since I hit Hartford I've been in pizza for 20.years and this place is in my top 5 for... sure staff so cool. Awesome live band last night and prices are so reasonable. Drinks aren't watered down. Everyone who walksthrough the doors is pretty and cool and nice so great crown just all around great place. Cool laid back rock dive bar with friendly people and good pizza and beer.
A few weeks ago we were downtown for an event on a Sunday afternoon and decided to grab lunch somewhere. saw 4 dads was open and... took a look at the menu and it sounded good. we checked it out and found the service was friendly, the atmosphere wassurprisingly lively, and the food was fantastic. we both got subs and the fact that it is boars head meat and cheese, freshlocal bread, and great veggies really made it hit the spot.the other thing that is great is the draft list is large and varied,not like many places that have like 10 IPAs and not much else. stopped in before the UConn mens basketball game yesterday for adrink and found the same great atmosphere, friendly service, and while we didn?t eat this time it sure did smellgreat. definitely check it out location is also super convenient to XL Center.
