Ordered the J Burger and it was absolutely delicious and the fries were seasoned perfect. Highly recommended.
My husband and I have been to this place several times. We wanted a place to eat and drink to relieve the stress we were feeling... while a loved one was in the hospital. The outside bar and bartender, Kris, gives such a relaxing feel. Kris made wonderfulmixed drinks. The food is magnificent. My husband had the lobster roll and I had the salmon BLT... both were delicious. We alsotried the créme brûlée....it was perfect. We have not been disappointed with this gem! Read more
A spur of the moment lunch choice and NOT disappointed. Got a wide selection of apps, great truffle fries and the zucchini... stacks were fantastic! From appetizers to dessert everything was delicious. Cocktails were delivered fast and yummy! Ourwaitress was friendly and attentive, she was delightful. This place is honestly a hidden gem. I am very familiar with Hartford and the restaurants around. Heard this one is across from ... hartford hospital. When I walked in I instantly fell in love with it. Went there at night and asked to sit outside. They hadmore than enough heaters to keep anyone warm and a fore running as well. They also have lights surrounding the outside and agazibo is covering the porch (no wind is hitting you). The food was splendid!!!!! From the appetizers to the entree; I enjoyedevery bite. I can't stress how much I loved the food. Our waiter was extremely attentive, friendly, informative, and kind.Definitely enjoyed my time here. I will be back. Read more
Just had the most perfect fun CHRISTMAS EVE Dinner??????????? in the P.A.R.I.S ROOM (Heated Outdoor shipping container in the... winter) loved the whole ambiance..a whole #VIBE???????????? Food was amazing! We love places where you can get a reservation for an outside table! We took a chance and tried J Restaurant? so glad we did.... The patio atmosphere is awesome and quaint although huge. They have enclosed the space with sea to land containers and haveblanketed it with open fire pits patio heaters and gazebos that have heat. On top of all of that the food was so yummy! We arelooking forward to returning this winter they said they heat the floor and you can still eat outdoors! Can?t say enough aboutour experience. It right across the street from Hartford Children?s hospital. Not a great neighborhood but we felt very safe! Read more
What a wonderful dining experience! The host at the front initially said there were no tables available but ended up seating me... at one with a later reservation since I was solo. That was a class act right from the start. My server, Andrew, was responsive,knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food came out at just the right, too. And oooooooh the food!!! Absolutelydelectable! I had the New England Clam Chowder appetizer, then grilled filet mignon with mashed potatoes and roasted brusselsprouts.
