This is a fun restaurant close to Infinity Hall (in case you are going for a show). The atmosphere is 'industrial chic' and... upbeat. Before the meal they serve bread along with an interesting cracker/ tortilla. Both were very good. For dinner I had thechicken entree which was also very good. It was served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The only issue was there was toomuch water from the vegetables in the bottom of the plate making the mash potatoes a bit soggy. For dessert I had theirflourless chocolate cake. I thought it was pretty good. Not the best I've had but good. All in all a good meal for the pricewhich wasn't cheap but not crazy expensive either. Our server Hailey was excellent and very pleasant. Read more

The fried duck dinner appetizer was terrific. I would have taken a picture of it, but I ate too fast. The staff was great and... the restaurant is upscale / casual. Read more

I went to Trumbull Kitchen for the first time and I loved it. The waiter was very attentive and nice, and the food came out... quickly. I loved the rock shrimp and sweet potato appetizer. I would definitely come here again. Read more

The hangar steak is amazing. The most tender meat and pure symphony of flavors. Caramel sweet sauce on either broccoli or... asparagus. Read more

Solid local experience. Reservations helped to ensure timely seating. Like the menu concepts ranging from seafood to land lover... type selections. Note that the quality is good. I would put a little elbow into the presentation to elevate the status of therestaurant. But again, the wait staff was helpful and timely. Like this option in Hartford. Read more

Trendy eatery located in downtown Hartford, CT. I love to try seasonal cocktails and usually I disappoint myself however I tried... the Ginger Poire and it was amazing! I also had the duck confit fritters and they were alright but honestly the duck was verydry. The main course was meatloaf with tomato jam, cheddar mashed potatoes and green beans. While under seasoned (something thatI thoroughly dislike in restaurants) once a bit of salt was added the dinner was outstanding. Had the main course been seasonedproperly this would be a 5 star review even with the dry duck. Read more

Great service and innovative menu options are at Trumbull kitchen kitchen we've had a variety of plates to savor. the hanger... steak was tasty, well cooked and well portioned. But the star of the show was the buttermilk bread crusted chicken sandwichwhich had the right level of seasoning layered textures and a great bun to round off the flavor. the staff was super friendlyand very helpful. highly recommended we will be coming back.
