The prefect example of a small town bar. I really enjoyed this place. The fish and chips is excellent and costs only $11. I... don't know another place where you can get this good of food for that price. Definitely recommend should you happen to findyourself in Hartford around meal time. Read more
We just got take out. The food was good tho the homemade potato chips were a bit salty for my taste. My swiss mushroom burger... was great with a huge beef patty and grilled mushrooms. My son had one of their house special burgers with bacon and curly friesthat he really enjoyed. Read more
Excellent burgers, local bar. My wife and I decided to try this place. Just moved into the area. I had the arrowhead burger and... she had a regular cheeseburger. We both agreed best we had recently. First impression was it was a hole in the wall and kind of shady. Got inside and WOW! Food was delicious! Everything was cooked... perfectly! Burgers were juicy and no pink (ordered that way), chips were crunchy, mushrooms were fresh and handmade. Everythingwas fresh, not frozen, and it was all cooked to ordered. The employee working had a great personality, an amazing cook, and wegot everything in 45 min. Sat down, ordered, got our drinks, and then our food. If you are passing through don't let this placefool you. It's totally worth it! Highly recommend and if we didn't live an hour away, this would be our new go to spot. Horrible place. Bartender/owner likes to come out to a public sidewalk to threaten to cut someone's nuts off. Then follows it... with threatening behavior. Telling them he is going to smack him in the mouth. Way to treat tourist. Read more
