Similar to a few other reviews, this was my first visit to Wissota and it was disappointing. The French onion soup I ordered was... good. The $45 steak I had was not. I mentioned to ,I think, a manager that it could use some seasoning, and she said they don'tseason their steaks. That baffled me as minimally I would think a steak would be seasoned with salt and pepper. A good steakshould not require additional toppings to make it taste good. For the side we had the whipped potatoes, I thought there was acheese crust on the top but it was just burnt. The edges were charred black, and did not leave a good taste in the mouth. Forthe price I was expecting a higher quality. But I'm wondering if because this is a chain restaurant attached to a hotel chain,if that is why the prices are elevated. Next time I will drive down to Milwaukee for a steak dinner, or make it at home myself. Read more
We had other plans that fell through and decided to stop in for a couple drinks. Courtney and Ashley made us feel so... comfortable and the happy hour prices were amazing! We really enjoyed the ice cold local beers on tap and delicious appetizers. It was hard to leave! Read more

Feasting with Family at Wissota Chophouse - Hartford tonight! I mean wow that was a ton of food. From burgers and truffle fries... to salmon and prawns, Mac n Chees to Flatbreads, risotto to mashed potatoes and then some! The menu has so many great options tochoose from, it would be hard to leave disappointed. Not my best photography but it was all delicious. Sad to say I was so fullI couldn't even consider eating dessert... I am so disappointed in myself. Next time! Read more
We went to this restaurant for our Anniversary based on feedback from a local Facebook restaurant group. All I can say is that... I have not had a better dining experience in quite a long time. The food was fabulous and our server Kellee was top notch! Mywife tried the Duroc pork and I tried the 45 day dry aged Ribeye. We split an order of the blue cheese risotto. It was allperfectly prepared and the steak was cooked exactly as requested. Kellee was very knowledgeable of the menu, and hadrecommendations for add ons when asked. We ordered the tower of chocolate cake for dessert and were blown away when it arrived.We have dessert for several days to come. While the food was stellar, our server Kellee really made the meal. Mikayla did an incredible job with customer service. She encouraged me to come into the restaurant to order even after the front... desk staff had told me that the restaurant had closed early due to lack of business.
