Excellent location, much better than the Davison location. The food was delicious, hot and fast! Salads are to die for. The... desserts was outstanding. My husband said it was the best cheesecake he has ever ate!!! Will definitely be back. The bathroomswas very clean and the restaurant itself was very well taken care of. The wait staff is so friendly and helpful. I had the blackrock brownie and it was amazing too, the amount of food you get is well worth the higher prices!!!!! Read more

Our experience at this black rock was fantastic. The food was delicious and our server, Dan, was incredible. We got our food in... a timely manner, had a wonderful environment, and altogether had a great experience. The birthday volcano was a nice finishingtouch! Highly recommend and will come again! Great service and fun experience! We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, so he was gifted a chocolate volcano dessert which... was amazing, but definitely needs to be shared because it is HUGE! I ordered steak and lobster. They were both good but Iprobably won't order the lobster again, just because it was pretty small. I ended up using only the black rock sauce foreverything, which was sooooo delicious that I think it has ruined all other sauces for me! Read more

I had the New York strip, a very large portion, but did need a bit more trimming. The black rock experience was fun and would go... again. We left by 7 pm, and the place already had a haze of smoke. I imagine that they have some impressive ventilation, but itthat would be the only downside of the experience. I didn't try dessert but it looked nice from what went to other tables Read more

Another place my wife and I love. We've been three times and just ate again there last night (two nights ago considering its... nearly 2am). The food is to die for. We haven't had it any other way than with the volcano stone things however, so I can'tcomment on the food otherwise. We always end up getting the same thing-the dynamic duo. A couple of steak medallions and shrimp. They're filling and to die for in taste-the (I think it's called rock sauce?) Is delicious-comes on the side. Food aside-theservice has been great too. I wish I could remember his name, but we had a few jokes about watching the game and he made sure mywife and I were topped off on our drinks. Kudos, this is our current favorite restaurant. My daughter and I went here before we went to a daddy daughter dance (dressed as penguins!)! We did priority seating online and... waited less than 30 mins from the time we checked in. I heard them telling people behind us that it was going to be at least a1.5 hour wait! I have been here one other time, not this location but another! I got the ribeye, Caesar salad, asparagus and asmoked old fashioned to drink. Unfortunately due to the storm, they were running low on bourbon and made my drink withWoodford! I wasn't let down with this as Woodford is one of my more favorite bourbon! The smokiness add to my favorite classicdrink was a nice addition to the experience. I loved that the salad had a giant parmesano crisp that I cracked on my over it(picture after I did that lol) We had an incredible waitress, Addison (please correct me if I'm wrong here!) I think her namewas! She was just wonderful in such a busy night, line out the door at 5pm. Ribeye, seemed a little fatty from what I'm usedto, but had good flavor. The asparagus as my side was asparagus, I mean toss it in a sautéed shallot with red wine reductionwith thyme, lemon, and butter; elevate it a little! I would give this restaurant a lower score as I pay 30-40 for a steak that Iend up cooking myself. Just a basic, unseasoned steak... it irritates me the price is as high as it is when I cook it. Nowcalm down I know most of you all are probably like "its the experience that makes it worth it!", and I understand, I just don'tthink the steak should still cost as much. I mean seriously when it comes down to it, paying that much for a steak that I cookmyself isn't worth that because I could get a thicker, larger Ribeye, for the cost of the steak there. My daughter loves it,we had wonderful service, and everything they made for us, was exceptional. I would definitely come back and would definitelyrecommend calling ahead for priority seating!
