This place does a great job at executing the sushi rolls. I?m a huge sushi fan and have been searching for one for quite some... time in MI that is near me. I come from vegas where the rolls are flavorful and always a treat. This place definitely providesvariety and sure does tickle your taste buds. If you are hesitant on trying sushi - don?t be?they have a list of cooked rolls. Itake all sushi newbie friends here (hence the California roll on the plate) and they all like it. Beware - you will never goback to a California roll after this place?..Great job Hatorando! Also - the sports bar atmosphere is nice. My wife and I just had our first dining experience here. The sushi is among the best we have ever had. Our chef was, Angelo. He... really knows his craft. The presentation and taste were exquisite. Our server was, Zane. Above the sushi, Zane is a good reasonto come back. He suggested some appetizers that we absolutely loved. He was very attentive. I highly suggest Hatorando. Read more
Very interesting place, with much ambition and flavor in both it's atmosphere and meals! Tried both their Ginger Salad (with... some of the best ginger dressing I've ever had), and an amazing "Godzilla Roll" that featured delicious flavor combos of crab,tuna, and avocado. All this with a hot sake, along with the atmosphere of a sports bar AND sushi bar (in separate section of therestaurant), and you've got yourself a Hatorando! Friendly staff, outgoing owner: briefly spoke to him, and was very gratefulfor us trying it out for the first time! A relatively new business too, and hoping it becomes very popular throughout the regionof Michigan, and maybe even the East of the U.S.A.! If I'm ever visiting family again, or just passing through: I willdefinitely be returning to Hatorando Sushi and Sports Bar. Read more

I was a bit reluctant about eating sushi from a sports bar but Hatorando changed my mind. I will be back for more. There are... also plenty of options you would typically find in a sports bar but I was impressed with all the menu items related to sushi. My3 daughters and I took a long time making a decision as the menu was extensive. As you can see in the picture we had plenty tosatisfy our sushi craving. We ordered the Caliornia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, 2 Rock and Roll, and Hot Girl Roll. (Priced from $10to $15.) We had a choice of Miso Soup or Ginger Salad. All were pleased with the food and drinks. Servers were knowlegeable andattentive without hovering, allowing us time to choose and enjoy our conversation. Read more
