I attended a catered: 2 meat, cheesy potato, 2 salad event. The ham and roast beef were very tender and delicious. Cheesy... potatoes were a little dry. The Cole slaw was the best ever! Stopped in from out of town and this was the worst place that I have ever been to. You walk in and there is food all over the... floors and napkins stuck under the table legs. The tables were sticky and the menus were stuck to the table. They obviouslydon't clean anything. The high chair that we grabbed had food caked all over it. I had to ask the waitress to wipe it off. Weordered our food and my son got milk, he drank half of it and realized that it was sour. She brought our food to the table andasked if we needed anything else. I asked for ketchup, 15 minutes later, No ketchup. So I had to go to the bar and ask forketchup because our waitress was nowhere to be found. The shrimp tasted like it was fried in old oil. It was terrible. Some ofthe breading on the inside was still raw. The fries were soggy and disgusting. I had a mojito and I don't think they put anyalcohol in it. It just tasted like soda. The boneless chicken wings were 50 cents and they looked like they were just chickentenders cut up. I asked for the check and 20 minutes later, Still no check. Best Smoked BBQ I'm originally from Texas, BBQ is second nature to us. Besides a nice steak, no other meat like Brisket can... compare. At Crazy Bob's they smoke theirs. The flavor is out of this world. The meat is nice and tender, juicy with just theperfect amount of smoke and rub. They offer a nice selection of BBQ Sauce flavors to choose from. If you like it hot, theyhave a nice one with just the right kick to it. if you prefer no kick at all, they have a BBQ Sauce that enhances the flavor ofthe meat without any fire to it. There are many other selections as well. Steak, Chicken and a burger. At Crazy Bob's theyoffer a nice selection of sides to choose from. You can get your order to go or eat in. The staff is always nice and helpful. The restaurant is nicely decorated and always clean. There is a bar if you would like to have a few drinks before your meal orhave a few drinks while you chat with others. I highly recommend Crazy Bob's especially if you don't want to drive to SiouxCity or Sioux Falls to eat Famous Dave's. Their prices are well within the normal range. He opens at 5pm and closed at 9pm, but I called early at 3 and he served me anyway! These folks are sweet to customers and full... of good towny locals that have good attitudes. My step grandpa was a Texas hero for his brisket and brisket parties (and Usaf).He would approve of the brisket and pulled pork here. I've only been here a couple times but Texas would be proud of anunsuspected quality in the middle of Iowa (where they could get away with less but decided not to). If I were anywhere within 60miles of this place regularly, it would be a date night destination. Real people, real food, right price. Can't ask for morethan that. Read more
