The atmosphere and food is so authentic. Sonia made us feel like we were apart of the family and the food made me feel like we... were at the family dinner table. I’m not even a vegetarian but the food was so good I didn’t even care. Also you can byoband there’s no corking fee ;). Definitely a must to visit if you’re in the Westchester area. Read more

What a wonderful place! Small business, seems to be family owned, manager is such a gem! She made this place even nicer than it... is, and it’s already great on its own. We’re not experts on Indian food so she made recommendations, talked to us, explainedanything we needed. Food was delicious, and if you’re here you must try their mango juice. It was out of this world. We lovedit so much and definitely coming back. Clean, easily accessible and vegetarian heaven! Read more

Delicious VEGAN Indian! We just moved to town a month ago and had been searching for an Indian restaurant. We had read about... this place in a vegan Westchester County article and also came across it on HappyCow. Could not have left more impressed. Theowner was amazing and very helpful and the food was incredible. Will be back very soon. Read more

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to so far! This place reminded me of Chai Paani, NC. Super delicious... food, amazing ambiance, gracious hosts. Will surely stop by whenever in town. My favorites here are lasooni Gobi & vegan mangolassi. So so yumm! Read more

It's hard to know which to praise more, the food or the service. I will start with the service, since such careful, attentive,... friendly support from staff seems incredibly rare in Westchester. Sonja will guide you through the menu, suggest dishes to meetyour tastes, explain how things are cooked, and then leave you alone to enjoy your food, which will be incredible. The dishesare creative, elegant, healthy, and varied. The most surprising thing about this lovely place, though, is the bill: Everythingcosts much less than you would expect. I feel almost guilty posting about a neighborhood treasure, but from all the otherreviews on this place, I would say the secret is out! Read more

Eating here was such a great experience. The food might not be your typical oily, creamy Indian curries found at other... restaurants. It was made to order and had less salt, oil and tasted healthy. Sonya took care of us and did an excellent job atrecommending us items to try. She went above and beyond to make us welcome. Samosa chat and mango lassi was our favorite. Trythe mango lassi with coconut milk and coconut water, it was delish! Read more

Masala Jackpot today in finding both an amazing Indian place and one with vegetarian and VEGAN options. We were craving Pani... Puri all week and that is what made this place a destination new spot for us. Once here we were greeted by Sonia the wonderfulhost/ manager who filled us in on all the favorites here. We had Mango Lassi, Pakoda, Masala Dosa, Chana Masala, Roti andFalooda. Veggin’ out in Westchester is not the easiest thing especially for full on vegans. Vegans will travel for good veganfood - I will and do go far for it. This place hits all the buttons for us - charismatic service, fresh cooked delicious Indianfood and so many items that are or can be made vegan. “Vegan near me”.. my middle name. Masala Kraft Cafe on Hartsdale willnow be a weekly staple for us. Read more
