Took my Mom here back in June to celebrate her birthday. Excellent food & service. Took my wife today & meet up with my sister... to celebrate there birthdays, again excellent food, Rachel was our server, excellent 5 star service always right there withanything you asked for. This place was great for my mom's birthday of a small gathering of 6 people. The food was good. However, I don't like how a 20%... gratuity was already added on our tickets. We had only 4 separate tickets at the table. We had a good waitress but if shewasn't, I feel that it is my choice to decide what I want to tip him/her. By the way, I am 100% supportive of at least 20% for atip. What is your gratuity policy? Read more
I've dined here in the past and I remembered loving it. This experience wasn't the case. I had a bacon cheeseburger (no bun) for... lunch. It was supposed to be an Angus beef patty, but I promise it tasted like a frozen patty from a grocery store. It waseverything I could do to eat it doused with BBQ sauce (bad BBQ sauce at that). I know that restaurants have made tweaks duringthe pandemic and after for food costs, but this was borderline uneatable. I noticed that other menu items looked like they hadbeen *tweaked* to cut costs as well. I'm in the camp of raise your prices and give me quality not quantity people! Sorry not afan anymore. The ribeye was excellent. Mine was medium rare and done perfectly. Baked potatoes were loaded and didn't disappoint. My wife... got their chicken with a sauce that was so good we asked if we could get some to take with us. I think our excellent waitresssaid it was called Kingston Brew. And speaking of our waitress she was even better than the meal. We never went without andshe always so attentive without causing any kind of interruption. You know what I'm talking about. The well meaning waitstaffthat hover too close or always interrupting a conversation to check on you? And half the time with your mouth full? None ofthat here. I simply cannot recommend this place enough, nor the most excellent waitress we've had in recent memory. Her nameis April and you should do yourself a favor and ask for her before seated, we will. The food here is always amazing. I ordered the seared scallops with steamed broccoli and sauteed mushrooms (not pictured, but... still incredible.) If you sit at the bar to eat during happy hour, you'll have access to a few discounted appetizers and thegood company of the awesome bartenders. Read more
Small portions, large price. I ordered a house special cut steak topped with shrimp cooked medium well. It was well done & dry.
