Everything was just as I remembered which was a good thing, except for the food. The portion were too much, but the owners are... good people who don't skimp. You get more than what you pay for. It was just an off experience on taste. We all have baddays. Do get the sauces at the register bc most times there is not any in take-out bags. I'm not giving up on Westwood. It'sa long standing staple of Hartsville. Read more

The buffet was good home style cooking. There was a good variety to choose from. My favorite was the barbecue.

BBQ, sides, vegetables fixed just as they should be. On point! All of it! The food was fresh and delicious, excellent customer... service. Very friendly staff. Coke comes in a can, tea is served from the pitcher and is perfect! My cup was never empty. Limabeans, hush puppies, coleslaw, Mac & cheese, rice, hash, and so on. It was all excellent, not too salty. I can't think of abetter meal for the price. Went on a Friday night, only waited 5 or 10 mins for a table. Read more

This place used to be so good! What happened? Dry pulled pork, bitter hash and over cooked corn. The staff is so pleasant it... sucks how the food has been lately. :/ Read more

I am a Mid-Westerner, and do not claim to be a critique of road side, southern cuisine. I find the food in the south to be quite... salty, and Hartsville?s - Westwood BBQ?s $10.90(includes drink) all U can eat is no exception. To those that are used to a bitmore salt, you would likely enjoy the food. I?ll be craving a lot of water the rest of the day ???? With that said, I prefer asweeter, tomato based bbq sauce; but it is not an option here. The pulled pork does come with a vinegar sauce already mixed in.Three types of vinegar based sauces: mustard, tomato and a hot sauce were at the table to add, if one desired. The buffet hadquite a few meat and side selections; chicken and pork. I did enjoy their three baked bean with sausage side, hush puppies, andcoleslaw! Customer service was friendly and kept our sweet iced teas full. I have no need to return, but every time I pass by,the parking lot is full. Two of us ate in; and we made two hearty plates to go, for family, all for about $45. Paper plates andplastic utensils are used here, which was just fine. Read more

Wow. This is some very authentic SC BBQ. The beans and sides were perfect. Amazing coleslaw just the right amount of sweetness... and heavy black pepper. The meats were perfect. Being a GA native I expected to have more of a critique. The pull BBQ Pork wasout of this world. Chicken and dumplings a nice touch. The fried chicken here is what really made me go wow they have this downto a science! Read more
