What a nice unexpected experience! Off-the-path tiny town with a gem of a restaurant. Old west decor, and friendly good service.... Exceptional food. The steaks were perfect, and the sides interesting and delicious. Highly recommend going a bit out of the wayto find this place. (Only complaint: Must Love Pepper. A little heavy handed in all the dishes.) Oh, and the bar serves terrificcocktails! Read more

The atmosphere couldn't be any more perfect for a small town in Wyoming. As soon as you walk in, you know this meal is going to... be something special. Start off with a good selection of beverages from the bar. All of the salad dressing is made in house. The dressing on the wedge salad made me think I was having a BLT sandwich! Delicious! Prime Beef!!! Perfectly seasoned to letthe flavor of the meat shine. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfect, and the green beans were good, too. Top it off withanother bourbon, and that's about as perfect as a meal as you can get. Read more

I came here with my entire National Guard unit which had to have been close to 100 people, maybe more (they knew in advance we... were coming and we rented the whole place out). We definitely put the staff through their paces but they did an incredible jobkeeping up and doing it with a smile. The drinks on the cocktail menu were all phenomenal (the saddle brone beer is some of thebest beer I've ever had), food was outstanding and of course the atmosphere makes this a really cool spot. If I'm ever in thearea again, I'll definitely be stopping by and I suggest you do the same. Read more

Probably the best prime rib i have ever had. Southwest corn was good, an interesting preparation I'd never seen before. ... Served with mashed potatoes. Really good bartender. We were in a large group, more than 100 people, the only real downsidewas that the service was slow, but that is because of our large party. Cesar salad was also delicious. Both indoor and outdoorseating, gorgeous scenery, horseshoes out back. Lots of cool historical quirky details about the place. It was great. Read more

The history of this place is an obvious draw, and the food doesn't disappoint. We had ribeyes with the sides and salad it comes... with, and they were delicious. What did disappoint was the staff. We made a reservation, got seated, and were ignored for overten minutes. When we asked for service we were told the entire restaurant had one waiter. A girl who was not a waitress waspressed into service to keep up, and she did a great job helping us. However someone in the kitchen literally forgot to makeour order and we waited almost an hour for our food. This place is super cool and would have been a perfect place to enjoy afine dinner if they had their staffing issues worked out. Read more

Such amazing food, the salad was one of the best I have eaten and the potato soup was to die for! Cute little town and although... it's not 'cheap' considering you get sides, sour or salad (very generous helping) and your steak or shrimp it is very good valuefor menu. We didn't have desert but they all looked amazing we were just to full!! Read more
