Ordered takeout "hot" wings. They had no flavor of sauce or heat at all. Same as eating plain chicken. Called and reported it... and they said I had to bring them back. Was to far from Hartwell to drive back. Not good at all. Will not try again. Read more

I hate to give three stars because, generally, the food is very good and the service - while not always 'chipper' is also... good. Where my problem lies is when I call and order a meal with extra HOUSE RANCH I never get it unless I open the order andre-ask once standing in the store. This has happened several times with the most recent being just about fifteen minutes ago. Mysister picked up the food and didn't know to look, and I didn't tell her too. But it shouldn't be that difficult to put what isordered into the bag. It probably sounds ludicrous to most - to write a review about condiments, but we have to pay for extra-- which is totally fine and understandable, but I expect it to be in the bag. Read more
My wife and I ate at this Blazers?s in Hartwell, Ga. and we were very pleased with the service, the cleanliness, and the quality... of the food! My wife ordered the hamburger steak with coleslaw and an awesome salad! I had a 3 piece catfish meal with hushpuppies, slaw, and fries! Overall: Great wing spot for sure! Beautiful atmosphere, decor (went during Christmas season), and overall experience. Only... thing we didn?t like was the ?seat yourself? and catfish. The seat yourself resulted in a delay in service, we had to get up andask for assistance. After we were assigned a person it was pretty smooth sailing. (See Fish section below) Apps: We ordered the- Cheese Curds (which were like garlic cheese bites) & - Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizers. Cheese curds were unique andserved with marinara. Pretty good! (Btw: Not the full order, they were really good and I almost forgot to take pics) The friedgreen tomatoes were served with ranch. Wings: We tried the -Spicy Bourbon, Salt & Vinegar, Lemon-Yalu, and Sweet HeatChili. Spicy Bourbon had a sophisticated taste, great pairing for a date night vibe. Salt & Vinegar was okay, I wasn?t a hugefan of it on a wing but love it on chips. Still would recommend for true salt and Vinegar lovers to try (I?m notone). Lemon-Yaki (Lemon-Pepper and Teriyaki) was delicious! Two flavors I love, one well crafted wing! Heaven! Sweet Heat Chiliwas recommended by a fellow Yelper. I like the taste but was too hot for me. I like spicy but this flavor was a lot more than Iexpected. Fish Plate - 2pc: Simply put, we weren?t a fan! It?s catfish which has an acquired taste that we weren?t fond of. Thehush puppies weren?t a huge hit with us either. My recommendation, don?t risk it ?. Get the wings! Fries: Didn?t like them. Nosalt. Service was great! We had a very nice waitress that advocated on our behalf to help with the dish we didn?t enjoy. Ihighly recommend for those looking for a family of wing-lovers or even Hot Wing date night! We pass by here on our way to see my daughter and grandbabies in SC. It has become a new regular stop on our way back home. I am... able to order online then swing in and pick it up as we reach it along our route. I've even figured out the perfect landmarkthat means it's order time! We've tried several things, my husband likes the wings and always gets fried cheesecake for dessert.I like the philly cheese steak sandwich and their homemade fried apple pie.
