Wonderful food, drinks, and service (once we were seated). Arrived 10 minutes early because we had walked and were made to wait... in lobby. No offer to go to bar (not sure they have one) or explanation given. We saw the young lady who eventually was ourserver walk in at our reservation time and then we were seated. A simple explanation and/or an offer for us to have a drinkwhile waiting would have been much better than wondering what was going on for 10-15 minutes Oh btw the croutons for the Caesarsalad are to die for! Great atmosphere. Just went for dessert and drinks. The dessert was excellent, but the service at the bar was lacking. My wife... finished her glass of wine and was never asked if she wanted another, and I ordered an espresso but never got it. Will try againfor dinner sometime in the future as the food looked delicious and the wait staff were very friendly. Must have just caught thebartender on a bad night. Read more

We had a very disappointing evening. Our waiter was not welcoming and friendly. He was abrupt. It was like being served by a... robot.We waited over an hour for our food. I had the cod tacos which were mostly unrecognizable vegetables and very little cod.My husband had the surf and turf which was a VERY small piece of short rib and 3 small scallops. Had a very disappointing experience at Cape Sea Grille. Several items of our food that the table ordered were overseasoned which... is disappointing when paying $38 and above for entrees. We also had a very long wait for our food without any acknowledgement ofthe wait/delayed service. I completely understand that unavoidable circumstances/issues can happen in a restaurant but it's bestto be proactive and acknowledge it and not provide sub-par service in a restaurant that is supposed to be good. Overall, it wasnot worth the price and I recommend going to Ocean House instead. Read more
This is our favorite restaurant in MA (possibly on Earth). We?ve never had a meal short of excellent in every way. Perfectly... prepared fish every time. Specifically loved the horseradish encrusted haddock and the pasta with seafood. Best key lime pie.Creative delicious cocktails. Read more
Drink was Bad Seed cider from NY - I liked it! Started with the Warm Braised and Roasted Fall Vegetable Salad - AMAZING! Entree... - Seared Long Island Duck Breast - Perfectly cooked! Compliments to the grille cook, Nash Figlow! Watched the bartender make avast array of perfectly delicious drinks. Owners are friendly and committed to fine service, dining & experience.
