Such a love/hate relationship with this place. Everything I've eaten at El Oasis - tacos, sopes, tostadas, burritos - has been... uniformly good-to-excellent. There's nothing remotely comparable on the east side of the Lansing area, which makes the universalhassle of getting food at any of their locations so depressing. Is the Haslett location currently open for service? Maybe...it'sa mystery until you get there. They likely are cash only, except sometimes not. If there's a few cars in the lot, you can expecta sizeable wait. But the food IS good so I'll keep coming back. At least until another taco stand with better customer serviceopens up in the area. If the older woman is working the food is off the charts, anyone else...wildly inconsistent at best. Their hot salsa has a nice... kick, their salsa verde is flavorful. Never had a dish I didn't like if the older woman is working this location. Read more
Decided to give this place a try and the hype is not there. The taco meat had no seasoning, and the tortillas were bland. Taco... Bell gives a better experience and more for your buck. This comes from someone who is Latino born and raised in Texas. No bueno. Read more

Love this place. Stopped in for a quick taco lunch and thought I was back in Matamoros Mexico. Fresh ingredients and plentiful... servings. Glad I stopped and now know why there's usually a waiting line (10 min). Read more

I had to minus a star because, I'm not a fan of a hair in my food. However I don't get weird about that. Minus the other star... for the fact that Google states the hours but they aren't open till a half hour after they have posted, making the wait for apretty good dish (not great), about 45 minutes. Positive things, the beef tongue is cooked and tastes great. The tortillas weregood and the inside of the truck is very clean. Read more
