Consistant quality, pillar of the community. Always eat here faster than anything on apple street.

Service is friendly? but that?s as good as it gets. Portions are small, greasy and meat is overcooked and filled with fat.... Definitely over priced for everything. Do not order the avocado salad if you want any food. Only vegan option on the menu, fine, but it?s literally a side. Handful of shredded lettuce, little scoop of guacamole, half an unripened avocado, 2 raw slices ofonion and a raw slice of pepper for $9. Do not recommend eating here. Very disappointed. Read more

Decent food for tex-mex but not authentic style. Salsa and other items seem canned. Also slightly distracting some lady kept... yelling at people in the kitchen. Dont expect an ice cold Modelo or Margarita they don sell any adult beverages. Read more

We were seated quickly and every table gets complimentary delicious chips & housemaid salsa. It was Mother's Day and very busy... but we were well taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. I got a chicken chimichunga dinner which includes rice andbeans. I highly recommend this restaurant Read more

Needed a place to grab inexpensive and good food in the middle of a slow Saturday. All the places on the main street had no... street parking so we circled a block and found Mexican Connexion. The place was confusing, two front doors at either end of thebuilding. Neither had a sign saying which was the appropriate door. There was no host stand, just tables when we walked in so Ithought it was the wrong door but it wasn't. Polite young man said to be seated anywhere and he would bring menus. Thedecorations are cute, bright walls and Mexican folk dolls and masks, welcoming and bright. Menu has a lot of choices only thefood wasn't what we expected. Our waiter had an abundance of cologne, literally making my allergies react. When the foodarrived, we were a little taken back. Soft taco shells dripping with oil, fish tacos with chopped up premade fish fillet withno seasoning. It was served with a sweet sauce in the side and a pico that was brown and sour. The Mexican rice had minimalflavor and the beans were okay. My friend had fautas, they were covered with sour cream and topped with mozzarella, not a goodcombination. She said the chicken was flavored well but really not a fan of the rice either. We ate what we could as we skippedbreakfast for the trip to Hastings. We are out of towners, we won't be back. Read more
