This is a local small business that has done everything right! The coffee mochas, hot and cold, are delicious. The ambience is... that of a cozy cabin. Each employee is cheerful and was welcoming, polite and chatty even while efficiently filling orders.There was a little "hidden" cubby for kids under the steps. Oh, and those steps lead to more seating so take your time. Enjoyyour visit. Have a bite to eat. Take out a laptop, a book, read the newspaper floating around the room. Let life slow down aminute. This place couldn?t be more adorable. I?ve driven down special from St. Paul to go to this coffee shop (and of course to enjoy... more of Hastings while I?m down there). The coffee is great, the toasties are good and affordable (not a huge fan of their GFbread but I?m glad they have it). But the ambience is the selling point. It?s in an historic home that has been revamped andupdated in the most adorable, farmhouse style. There?s even a screened in porch upstairs that?s been turned into a cozy coffeeshop nook. Love! YUM! ?????? A new FAVORITE of mine. Drinks are delicious, food is tasty, and the atmosphere is extremely comfortable & cozy????... the staff here is the best! For me, Froth & Cork has been a great place to study. 10/10 would recommend! Read more
My husband and I used to live in the area and frequently drive out (from Bloomington) to revisit our favorite spots. After... seeing that Froth & Cork has 5 stars and over 100 reviews - we HAD to switch it up and give them a shot. They did not disappointat all! The toasties were so tasty, the iced coffee flight was a brilliant touch, and the atmosphere was perfect for a Saturdayday-date. Of the coffee flight - we both loved the Spiral Mocha and the cold press (the cold foam was perfect). The chai wasalso tasty though I usually like my chai a bit spicier. My husband really liked the Hopscotch too (it?s sweeter so not my fave,but still very yummy). My husband asked an employee a little more about the history of the building and we were handed a reallyawesome scrapbook to flip through about the history of the building, built in the late 1800s, that has served as a residence,apartment building, a hair salon, and now one of the best coffee shops we?ve been to locally! This cozy coffee shop impressed with their offerings and service. A local small business, they also support other local business... by serving up Peace Coffee! My husband enjoyed the cold press coffee while I tried out the London Fog that came with a sweettiny waffle to keep the warmth of the tea within the cup. We also ordered the Original Breakfast Toastie; it was the perfectsize to eat while driving and had a good ratio of egg to ham to bread. I'm looking forward to my next visit! Read more
This is such an adorable place! It has your typical, relaxed coffee shop vibe. I could have cozied up there for hours. They have... lots of fun drinks to choose from and they offer a coffee flight! Be prepared for an extended wait for a flight though as thatseems to be their most popular offering. I had a latte and an original breakfast toastie and both were delightful! Highlyrecommend if you are in the Hastings area, or up for a road trip. Read more
