The restaurant was clean. The service was good. The food was something else all together. I ordered a roast beef sandwich. ... I got a small portion of meat on wheat toast with microscopic veggies. Very disappointing. It tasted like Swiss on wheattoast. The meal my wife got was disappointing as well. My son ordered a deep dish pizza and it was good. That being said I had3 beers and cheese curds and my total was over 100$. We will not be going back again. Read more
We hosted a large party of close to 40 people here. The entire staff was fantastic to work with. The Catering Coordinator... Karen made all the initial planning seamless and easy. She was able to reserve us their private room in the restaurant and getthe order placed off their catering menu to do a buffet for our group. Come the day of the event, our server and the entirestaff was fantastic and we couldn't have had better service. The food was delicious (we chose the BBQ buffet off the Green Millcatering menu) and everyone in our group was more than happy. I highly recommend using this restaurant for any large partiesyou may be looking to host! Read more
We used the Green Mill in Hastings for our grooms dinner prior to our wedding in Red Wing. Karen was so easy to work with! The... food and service were both great. Green Mill was very accommodating for dietary restrictions as well. We had a private room andbuffet styled food with the ability to bring in our own dessert which was amazing. My wife and I have had good service and food from here before. But tonight's take out was really pretty bad. I ordered the... LANGOSTINO LOBSTER & SHRIMP and we also had a pizza. Non-existent service. People seated 15 minutes after us were eating before we got our food: a pizza. Took 15 minutes to return a... glass of water we asked for. Couldn't even bring plates for us till after our food was served and they weren't even that busy.On top of that, pizza was crummy with fake sausage and half-done crust. All surfaces in this restaurant are greasy, nevercleaned. Many better options in Hastings. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A PLEASANT DINNER WITH YOUR FAMILY. This place has really gonedown hill! Read more

I really like Green Mill restaurants I have never been disappointed. We tried a new one today in Hastings, MN and it is awesome!... The staff is super friendly and service was exceptionally fast. The manger takes great care in her location. She was incompression cast and still checking on the customers and cleaning under the tables. I highly recommended the diablo wings theyare amazing as well as the pizzas. There was a slight problem with our pasta orders but they took care of it right away. Read more
They do catering and their staff was extremely helpful and efficient! We had a wedding snafu where our original bar service fell... through due to unexpected circumstances. Green Mill stepped in and quickly arranged their bar service for our event without anyfuss. Would recommend! Read more
