The facility is lovely and the views are nice from the patio however we had some of the worst service ever experienced when we... dined there last night. We waited 15 minutes to be greeted at our table. Finally given menus but food only menus. No drink menu.Waited ANOTHER 10 minutes and the ?waiter? came to our table. We had to ask for a drink menu and water. There were three serversfor maybe eight tables, so not too busy. I think the server we had was not trained properly or just not cut out for it. Afterdeclining the dessert menu, and clearly being done with our dinner and drinks, we waited another 10 minutes for our check-I gotup and found him and asked for it.( other folks who came in after us were already served, paid and gone!) It was our first timebut unfortunately our last, which is too bad as we were looking forward to finding another regular deck/patio to frequent. Read more
What an awesome venue to have your wedding! The ceremony by the pond is beautiful and the reception hall is perfect. Outdoor... seating on those beautiful nights. Very friendly and hospitable staff. I was fortunate to DJ a wedding here this past weekendand everyone was so kind and the food came out right on time! Kami - sorry if I misspelled your name was very on point witheverything! The food was delishous and the view was amazing. Our waitress Annie was the best. She was full of welcoming energy and was so... kind right off the bat and that carried through the whole night. She gave great suggestions for food when we did not know whatto get. She made our night and we would go back just to have her as a waitress again! I would give her an 11/10 or better. Read more
Hmmm...benign neglect? I can't really say "rough around the edges", but that's the next closest idea. Our first thought on... approaching the door was of a funeral home, then the entry way which is almost devoid of any decoration or color, wasn't aninviting first impression. Look to the left and see piles of chairs in the currently unused pro shop and finally to the rightwhere the restaurant is located only to be greeted by Christmas decorations a week before Easter. It seemed there were theseincongruities everywhere we looked. A nice, almost formal dining area with a jukebox in it. Waitstaff having to walk throughthe waiting area with food to be served or empty plates to return to the kitchen. Then on to the waitress who unfortunatelydropped things as she approached the kitchen and left the ketchup all over the floor for others to walk through. The diningarea was extended into their event space, but again, nice tables next to chairs stacked and stored, and children using the largeevent room for their play space as they waited. Love coming here. Atmosphere is good, menu is great, always looking forward to new experiences on the menu! Event center side is... always enjoyable. Never disappointed by the events here; I've enjoyed live music, wedding receptions, comedy shows, etc. Read more
My party had a reservation at lunch but nobody there knew. Lucky for us it was quiet at lunch and we were ok. The state of the... menu in the photo should have been my hint at the food quality. But I had high expectations, and was disappointed. My grilledcheese had bacon and onions yes, but also sliced yellow American cheese. Big bummer. The fryer oil probably was old because allthe fried food was very dark. The curds were ok, breaded not battered. Fried pickles, same deal. Overall we were not reallyimpressed with the food we got. The server was very nice and attentive. The place was clean, nice bathrooms. Classy with clothnapkins. Read more
