Had dinner at our favorite place in hastings! Of course we had to order the special, the chicken marsala and our normal favorite... the Cajon chicken pasta! Can't go wrong with the Onion! Excellent food, very home style and tasty. The waitress checked on us continuously and provided excellent service. Staff was... very friendly to me and my family. Kiddo got the kids 1/3lb cheeseburger and fries, which he still had fries for us parents toswipe a few in good fun. ???? I got the pub steak with seasoned carrots, and country style au gratin potatoes. All in all, greatexperience! Read more
This is a good place for lunch. Varied menu. Waitress was friendly and gave us great service! Lobster Mac and cheese was good.... French onion soup looked awesome! They have a nice little gift shop in the corner. Read more

Had a reservation for 5pm for 3 people. Were seated promptly. The service was on top of everything. She took our drink orders... right away and returned quickly with waters. We ordered lots of the small plates to share including: the gouda artichoke dip;which was melt in your mouth delicious! So rich in flavor. We had the sirloin bites which were paired with a perfect horseradishsauce. The bucket of sunnies was so fun to order out at restaurant (felt very Minnesotan) And we ordered the special: pretzelsand cheese. Which I assumed would taste just as one expects but we were pleasantly surprised to find them far above ourexpectations in texture and flavor. My son devoured the sausage and pepperoni flat bread; he gave it 2 thumbs up! Dinner wasincredible. My husband had 3 different martinis off their drink menu; he enjoyed them all. They also have a small marketplacestore with fun items. I picked up some fudge ( which was so soft and fresh tasting) and a couple of pickled products I cannotwait to try. If you are out in Hastings this is the place to grab dinner. We highly recommend and plan to come back soon! Read more
MARGO is a sharp, friendly, sincere, intelligent employee of the Onion Grille! It was a treat to have her as our server. She... helped make the atmosphere. The food was very good.
